    Air conditioning purchasing and installation.

    My A/C unit was due for replacement as it was getting too old (over 22 years). On recommendation from a friend, I contacted High Efficiency Cooling and Heating Inc. Their consultant (Charton Teng) was very friendly and polite. He gave me a good background on the air conditioning concept, and offered advise on the performance of the different A/C models that they carried (Carrier brand). He explained all the pricing, rebate and warranty in great details on each of these models that I felt I was able to make the appropriate decision. There was no pressure at all and I felt the price was right too (I opted for an expensive model). Within 3 days, they delivered the new A/C unit and their service men did a very good job on the installation, including disposal of the old unit. Later, Charton even made a return visit to ensure the new A/C unit is working perfectly. Overall I am very please with their work and service. I will not hesitate to recommend High Efficiency Cooling and Heating Inc to others.

    Installation of new Carrier central air system which we purchased from High Efficiency. Installation of a gas water heater which we purchased directly from Home Depot.

    Sales rep Charton Teng is very professional in his approach. Answers questions clearly and provides you with good options. Installer Keith also did a good job.

    Full HVAC system install( AC, Furnace, Case coil)

    Charton was great to deal with. He explained everything thoroughly and took the time to accommodate me for a quick meeting and system installation date - this was important to me because I was without AC in the hottest weather. I would say Charton went above and beyond the call of duty in arranging all this, and providing what I felt was the best product at the best price point and the best service. I also felt the Technician (Keith I believe ?) was very skilled and efficient - no "surprise" issues with the install and no time overruns. The system works very well. I had no issues at all really, and great service. As a matter of personal preference - I run the blower motor fan continuously in the hot weather to draw the cold air upstairs and reduce humidity, the super slow fan speed the system exhibits now on continuous fan mode is not doing the trick, but apparently Carrier offers a humidity control thermostat that can (maybe ?) control the blower motor speed in continuous fan mode operation - this might give me exactly what I want. A point of interest for other customers who may like to run the fan constantly as I do.

    Excellent Price and Installation

    After reading Homestars reviews, we contacted two different furnace companies to replace our furnace, air conditioner and humidifier. We decided to go with High Efficiency based on Charton's excellent overview of his products and the price. The installation was fast, efficient and painless, thanks to Jason, the installer. Everything seems to work perfectly. We would highly recommend this company.

    A/C installation

    Air conditioner and furnace

    My air was broken in June when temperature was in the mid 30 F. I received quotations from 4 vendors. Some of them were only willing to provide quotation on the phone. Among all these vendors, Charleton from High efficiency Cooling & heating provided me the best price. He is polite and patient. He answered and explained all my questions and concerns in choosing the right combination of air conditioner and furnace for my house. Installers arrived on time and they were polite and helpful. The cleaned up all the areas after installation. They installed a new wi-fi thermostat for my too without charge. The new thermostat requires power from the furnace, whereas my old thermostat was powered by battery only. Therefore, it is not a simple job for any non handy man. Charleton dropped by my house 2 days after installation and added my duct tape to seal up the joins along the pipe leading from the furnace - to prevent cold/hot air leaking from the pipe. I would definitely recommend Charleton to anyone who is looking for a new air conditioner or furnace.

    Air conditioner installation

    The company provided excellent customer services. Farshid and his colleage did a great job on the A/C installation . They also helped us fixing the thermostat to make sure A/C could run properly.

    Replace old furnace and AC

    Mr. Rick Li is very professional, clearly explained the products and helped me to choose the products to best suit my needs.
