James is a very thorough inspector. He was recommended by a friend who used him and he did not disappoint. He is professional but yet personable and made the experience enjoyable. He explains things well, has great stories and and keeps you involved with no BS. A straight shooter with tact. He saw things I would have never dreamed of looking for.

I have now retained Frontline Home Inspections on two occasions in relation to the purchase of a home. Both homes were impacted by the 2013 flood and it was therefore imperative that the home inspector had a great degree of knowledge and was willing to go the extra mile to investigate any issues and potential issues. James from Frontline was truly incredible. His background expertise as a plumber and his work experience in both Calgary and Vancouver give him a broad base of knowledge. However, it is his meticulous attention to detail that sets him apart. I can’t say enough good things about James. His services are worth every penny as he has saved me a fortune.

We have had two exceptional experiences with home inspections performed by James in the last 2 years. He did an outstanding job 2 years ago when we bought our current home which we have had no problems with at all. More recently he inspected another property for us. He was thorough, extremely professional and knowledgeable. He pointed out a number of things but most importantly the presence of a type of in-floor heating pipes which have been so problematic that many insurance companies no longer offer coverage for the home. James explained all the issues in detail, the report was ready very promptly and it allowed us to make decisions with the knowledge we needed about the home we were considering to buy. James is honest, reliable, very pleasant and has an integrity and professionalism which are rare in the world of real estate. We will not buy a home until he has inspected it!

James SAVED our nightmare on avoid purchase a house with problems on heating system which cannot get regular insurance! This is the 4th time we hired a home inspector. After seeing what he checked from outside to inside, from roof to basement, we know we waste all dollars we spent before.

We were very pleased with the inspection James did on a home we were thinking about purchasing. He was very punctual (he was actually at the home early), and was friendly and professional. It was clear he was very knowledgeable, thorough, and took the time to answer all my questions. I left the inspection with a better understanding of the condition of the home and what sort of questions to ask the seller regarding the issues that came up.
