    furnace and installation

    I recently purchased a new furnace from Acclaimed. After 3 estimates it came down to a choice between Acclaimed and another local company. Dan did a great job of winning my business back to Acclaimed. Charles and the fellow helping him do the install were also professional, knowledgeable and efficient, as usual. Over the past 15yrs I've been pleased with their regular service on my old furnace and I'm sure I'll have no regrets choosing Acclaimed for this purchase.

    Furnace cleaning

    I did a bit of research prior to selecting Acclaimed Furnace to do my furnace cleaning this year. The last time I had the furnace cleaned the company did not provide the best service and I was left feeling a bit dissatisfied. I'm so glad I chose Acclaimed Furnace. Rob and his team were friendly, efficient, professional and thorough. I feel confident that they did the best job and that I will certainly be using them again in the future!     Furnace cleaning

    Kevin was very friendly and efficient. They got to work immediately as they were telling me what was happening. Kevin (WO#15255) explained a bit about my furnace and it's efficiency and then I left the team alone to do what they do. Afterwards, Kevin sat down with me to explain the bill, and we had a nice little chat. Then off he went. I did not give 5 stars as this is the second time I have hired Acclaimed, and on both occasions they were not able to come at the time they said they would come and with little notice (today, called at 8:43 to say they would not be there between 9 and 10, but rather between 10 and noon, last time, similar experience).

    Furnace Replacement

    After receiving quotes from 3 companies, we chose Acclaimed to replace our two 25 yr old furnaces and are very happy we did. This is a great locally owned company, very focused on quality, service and customer satisfaction. Their prices are very competitive, the new furnaces are great, and the quality of the installation was excellent. There was excellent followup to ensure we were 100% satisfied. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this company.

    Furnace inspection and cleaning, ducts and dryer vent.

    Kevin, Mike and John arrived promptly in the morning, were very informative of the job and what was expected. They finished within the time they said and were very courteous.

    Furnace repair

    With three cats in the house, it's important to keep them all toasty-warm in the winter time. Our furnace had stopped working just a few days before, and, with the fall season soon leaving, we were anxious to stave off the coming winter cold. I was able to get a service call the next day. Ed showed up right on time, and found the problem quickly. It was a simple part replacement, and that was it! The cost was very reasonable, but I was more impressed with the speed and professionalism. I'm definitely keeping their card posted on our refrigerator!

    Furnace cleaning

    They were able to accommodate the date, even though I didn't give sufficient notice. Very polite, clean and professional staff. Have used them in the past and found them to be quick and efficient. WO#15161

    Furnace Maintenance

    Furnace problems cured easy, quick, and painlessly. Just call Acclaimed. Who's acclaiming them? I am. My wife and I hired Acclaimed to do some basic furnace maintenance for us. We worked with them last year when we needed a pump replaced and we were extremely happy with their work and their professionalism. It was only natural to ring them up again for a pre-winter service check and cleaning. Having your furnace conk out on you in the middle of winter sucks donkeys. Never again.... We got the PowerBrush & Whip Duct Cleaning Package for $199 which entails a detailed inspection as well as the cleaning of the furnace, water tank, and up to ten air ducts. Kevin and Mike were nice showed up exactly at their appointed time and got right to work. They provided a detailed invoice showing exactly what they did with a specific breakdown of each cost. They initially thought that the ECM would have to replaced as the heater fan wasn't coming on so a follow-up appointment was booked. A week or so later another technician whose name I don't recall showed up to investigate our fan issue. He was running a little behind schedule which was no problem. He called us beforehand to let us know that he would have to shift our appointment slightly to the right. We were impressed and thankful that he called to let us know. (Too bad Shaw and Telus wouldn't have that same decency when you're waiting around all day for them.) He found the problem with the fan pretty quickly. It was just an issue with corroded terminals on a switch so a new ECM wasn't needed. I thanked him for troubleshooting the issue so diligently. He could have just gone ahead and replaced the ECM which would have cost $1600 plus $250-$400. Very impressive service. Acclaimed are the official furnace guys of our household. If we ever decide to get AC installed for the six weeks out of the year that we experience summer, Acclaimed are hired for that too.

    AC install

    Of all the companies that we checked out these guys were the most professional and the most thorough. No hidden costs once they gave us the quote. It was all good!
