Hello Tadros, We were so sad to read your unhappy review. We are also very sorry that we didn't response to your email in a timely manner. I totally understand that not getting back to you right away would leave you feeling frustrated and unheard. The person that you sent the email to was unfortunately off sick yesterday and did not read it until this morning - around the same time we received your unhappy review. Our GM, Keven, left a message for you this morning to chat more about this, as we want to come to a resolution with you in regards to this situation. To address the fees mentioned in your review: We don't have an hourly rate for repairs at Acclaimed - our pricing model is set up as a call out fee + a diagnostics fee. Once the tech dignoses the issue, they will quote you a complete cost for the repair - everything included as a flat rate (as opposed to parts + labour costs). This allows our clients to make an informed decision based on knowing the final costs of a repair. We moved to this model a while ago and have received generally positive customer feedback in response to it. I can see from your customer profile with us that we have done a repair for you in the past under the old pricing model - I am wondering if that is where you remember the rate mentioned in your review? In response to your concern with the cost of the part: Our technician recalls having a conversation where you had asked the cost of the part, suggestion a cost of around $20. His reponse was that of a "maybe", as our technicians don't have pricing for individual parts, rather, a price book of 'flat rates' to quote for different types of repairs that covers all elements of the repair. In conclusion, we would love to chat more about your experience over the phone and come to a happier resolution for you, as we never want people to feel unhappy when they are having the "Acclaimed experience"! We do give our clients the option of adding services while we are on-site and offer cost savings since we are already there. The techs wages, supplies, and the equipment costs are factored in and prices are given to you ahead of time, so you that can make an informed decision. We feel the prices are fair based on the quality of work. When we do the work, we can show you the transformation, with before/ after photos which is very helpful to see and you can have confidence in the quality, the transparency, and the accountability of our team.
