We did the normal due diligence in getting three opinions/quotes to have our 1950s cinderblock foundation redone. Prices were all over the map and information varied widely with the exception being Gaetan from Bol-Dan. Gaetan was extremely quick at getting back to us, knowledgeable as to what would need to be done and was upfront with what we could expect. He provided us with a very reasonable quote, outlining the work to be completed.
We proceeded with the work in Spring 2022. Gaetan communicated with us in March of that year as to the schedule depending on the Spring thaw, providing us with an estimated date. He followed-up with us as the date approached, keeping us in the loop with any developments. When the agreed upon date arrived, Gaetan and his crew were here on time. They communicated with us throughout the project and kept the site clean. Gaetans communication is amazing, and we never had trouble getting a hold of him for any questions and he made himself available onsite throughout our project.
Weve had several heavy rains and now a really good winter thaw. In the past, I would be in the basement mopping up all the water that made its way into our basement. Since Gaetan and his crew completed their work, our basement has been bone dry.
Weve worked with many contractors, and I wouldnt hesitate to refer Gaetan to anyone looking to have their foundation done. Communication is superb, the price is very competitive, and the work is excellent!
