I was very happy with the work performed by Bol-Dan. They addressed a vertical crack in my foundation and installed a new window well with proper drainage. Gaetan and his crew scheduled the work quickly, showed up on the date identified and completed the work to my satisfaction . When I contacted Gaetan he was quick to respond. He came over to evaluate the state of the foundation, outlined my options and provided a very reasonable estimate for all the options. Before excavating the foundation, the company removed and neatly stored the bricks from the interlocking driveway. They fixed and waterproofed the foundation and backfilled it with gravel and even replanted our bushes that had to be removed prior to digging. The workers were very professional; the work was finished on time as planned and the worksite was left clean and tidy. I highly recommend this company.

The men installed a sump-pump in my basement. The company was very quick to respond to my request for an evaluation of my problem, my options, and an estimate. The work was done as requested, the timing was clear and was followed as planned, the men were clean in their work and clean-up and pleasant to have in the house. The company also made arrangements for the plumber and that also went as planned. I would highly recommend this company.

Gaetan: I am happy to report that even with the torrential rains this spring , there was no water leakage in our basement. The repairs done last year of hooking up the weeping tile from outside into the sump pump hole and installing more weeping tile under our basement floor did the trick. Excavated to repair foundation crack and installed a window well; also did a complete walk around the house to make sure there were no other issues. Responded to our problem immediately and completed the work in a timely fashion. Professional, friendly, reasonable rates and leaves the worksite clean. Have used Bol-Dan once before and glad we held on to his business card. It is important when you have a repair issue to have a company address your needs and make you feel at ease. Highly recommend!

Bol-Dan has completed 2 separate foundation repairs at my home. The first time they did the front and one side of the house where water was gushing into the basement. The work at the side had to be done in the interior of the basement because the garage had been built over the side where the water was coming in. There was no weeping tile at that side at all. They dug a trench inside the basement, waterproofed the interior and installed a sump pump bed and pit at the front. At the front of the house they excavated the foundation, filled the cracks, waterproofed the foundation and backfilled with gravel. I have had no trouble since then. The work was excellent and includes a long-term guarantee. Gaetan was responsive and pleasant. The reason I originally called Boldan was because they had been recommended to me by a property management company in Ottawa. The work was reasonably priced. The second job Boldan did for me was to excavate the other side of the house, including window wells. Water had been seeping in sporadically. They fixed and sealed the foundation cracks, installed a waterproof membrane, and decided to also dig a run-off pit to capture run-off water from the hill behind the house in order to draw water away from the house. Again the work was excellent, on-time, and effective. I highly recommend Boldan for any foundation work. You can trust both their diagnosis of the problem and the quality of the work that they do to fix that problem.
