I called Owen based on the reviews and was very glad that I called him. He is very professional, very polite and friendly. He immediately diagnosed the problems with both the gas oven and the fridge. Once fixed, he waited to confirm if every thing is working correctly. He also charged me less than the estimate he gave me over the phone. Prior to calling him, I called someone else and Owen's quote was almost 40% less than the other person's. I will definitely call Owen next time I need help.

Our over the range microwave oven was not installed properly. It was supposed to be venting directly outside but it was venting partially inside as well. I called a couple companies and many did not deal with the installation issues. One person quoted me 5 times the amount that I paid to Owen and another was giving me a date 2 weeks in the future. Owen's business is Scarborough located. I called him around midday and he was actually in my area at the time but I was not at home. He agreed to come over at 6:30 pm that evening when I was available. He found that the original installation was not vented properly. He corrected the situation in less than an hour. He is a cool guy, easy to talk to and down to earth. Price is reasonable. Will consider Owen for future needs. Thanks!

Our dishwasher had become abnormally loud. We'd done some online reading and poking around but couldn't solve the problem. Time for a pro - so, I called Owen's. He answered when I called and was able to see me the same day. A two-man team, the Owen's repairmen were courteous, quick and explained the issues to me. It turned out that the diswasher needed a new part (I believe a pump) and to have it's motor mounting tighted up (some of the noise we'd heard came from the defective part, some from the motor's vibrations). They got the necessary part the same day -- and quoted me what I consider to be a reasonable price that included the part, given the time and effort the repair took. I would use them again (they do electrical and plumbing as well as appliance work) and would recommend them to friends.

Called Aubrey's Appliances Service initially but as he doesn't do gas appliances, he referred me to Owen. He came the next day even though it was a holiday week and diagnosed the problem. As it is a costly repair on an old stove top, he gave us info on the cost to repair versus buying a new stove top, and charged us only a $45 service visit charge, told us to do some research on the cost of a new stove top, and call him when we decide what we'd like to do. So I can't comment on his repair skills, but he seems skilled and honest.

Owen did a great job in repairing our refrigerator and our stove. He came quickly after we called him and was able to assess the problem quickly. He then found a solution that did not cost us a lot of money. He is honest and trustworthy.

Owen provides a great appliance repair service at a reasonable price. It seems that he is able to deduce the problem with an appliance that needs repair. He is honest and reliable. When phoned there is usually minimal waiting time. I have used him many times as have my friends. And we have never been disappointed.
