    Furnace Service

    Woke up to a cold house, furnace had stopped overnight. Called Action Furnace and within an hour, Ryan was at our door. Exceptional service in a timely fashion. Happy to be an AF customer!

    Incorrect Diagnosis and Charged for part that did not solve the Furnace issue.

    During this Covid19 crisis that is impacting each of us- it is a SHAME that Action Furnace supplies customers with false promises based on their company website - good honest work for fair billing.
My furnace's on demand heat is fine but the fan constantly runs 24/7 I called Action Furnace and requested a serviceman to look at the issue - Fan constantly running on furnace. After they diagnosis they inform me that I need a part ($900) to fix this issue as the serviceman said my furnace was filling with water and this part would fix the fan from running continuously.
Lo and behold after spending $1200 my furnace still blows cold air when not heating via on demand and they send out another guy today who says its my electrical (although the house is only 8 yo) Now arguing with mgmt. to give back my old part installed and refund all monies.
As a woman living on her own during a global crisis I would expect companies to be honourable and decent people who recognize that honesty is critical - fix the problem and if you cannot then don't charge bogus diagnosis and repairs - Just want my money back and old part installed so I can afford to find a furnace company who can complete the work and not having now to pay double.

We apologize you didn't have a good experience with us this time but I believe it's unfair to call us unreliable and dishonest. We operate our business on a fixed right or it's free motto and have honored that with you on this service call and refunded your entire invoice amount.

    Furnace

    Furnace shut down, technician Evan came and figured out problem and other problems as well that were not known. Technician Evan was very nice and knowledgeable and explained everything so that I could understand.

    Good job

    Great service know what he was taking about and showed me what was wrong and what need to be done to fix it and told me what need to be done

    Annual Inspection.

    Dylan Brun was my Service Attendant and was very courteous & knowledgeable. Arrived on time, explained everything and left everything tidy. I also had a Humidifier water saver installed at reasonable cost. Also explained how it worked. I highly recommend him.

    Awesome and informative

    I was educated on almost everything: things about my humidifier, furnace, hot water tank, filters. Friendliness, humour and courtesy displayed at all times. I would recommend Action Furnace to family and friends.

    Duct cleaning, furnace check, humidifier clean, hot water tank and dryer vents cleaned

    Excellent service. Great company to deal with over the past 10 years when we bought a new furnace from them. Good solid knowledgeable people from the main reception to the technicians who do the work.

    Furnace repair

    Action Furnace technician came on short notice to determine why a relatively new furnace was not working. He quickly found a faulty valve and repaired it. He also found and repaired a water problem. All these were covered by the product warranty. There is heat again and we are very pleased with his work and only paying the diagnostic fee.

    Great install of furnaces and A/C

    I had two furnaces and an A/C unit replaced by Action. Ryan my comfort advisor worked with me to find a package that was within my budget and is very knowledgeable about their products. Action were competatively priced, did the job quickly but thoroughly, and provided quality service. Mike and Chris were very professional, friendly, and were very careful about making sure the job site was kept clean. They also worked really well together! I will definitely be staying with Action!

    Gas valve

    No integrity. I thought they were good folks to do business with. My furnace stopped working and I called Action Furnace for them to fix it. After diagnosing the problem the technician found out that the gas valve was not working properly anymore. He suggested that it needed to be replaced at $995 which I thought it was very expensive. But he suggested that if I signed up for their comfort club membership it will only cost me $811 dollars. Unfortunately I needed to get the furnace repaired and did not though of other options or getting a second opinion at that moment. It only took the technician about 1/2 hour to get the job done. After doing some research I found out that the Goodman gas valve for my furnace only retails for $50+dollars on Amazon. I understand that Action Furnace made a profit on the gas valve but there is not logical explanation for the $811 bill for the service call, parts and 1/2 labor. I feel that Action Furnace took advantage of the situation and ripped me off of my hard work earned money. I'm a person with integrity and based on my personal experience can not recommend this company.

We diagnose the issue and give the cost of the repair before any work is completed. At this point it is at the customers discretion to either go ahead with the repair or to shop the repair from another reputable contractor.
