I have a 3000 sq. ft. home with a finished basement. Usually it takes the Desperate Housemaids crew 2.5 sometimes 3 hours. Mind you everything is done, the way I like it. I've been with Desperate Housemaids for 1.5 years now and don't think I'm going to stop any time soon. Bottom line, "flawless".

Ladies, Let me tell you, you guys did an amazing job last week. I've had several companies in my home since last year (since the twins). Kim and Tracey did the best job by far. Thank god for you and the office team at DHM. Currently booked for weekly service and don't mind paying the price for a job well done.

I like that its two girls at the same time they work very efficiently and its takes half the time as oppose to one person. I feel that this is the most important part, they do very well and since I have a baby it is a lot easier for me.

I have always been satisfied with the service provided. The maids are punctual, or plan ahead to let us know of any schedule changes. I have found the entire team to be polite and professional at all times. Service provided inside of the home has always met my expectations. As a measure of how much respect the maids have for the homes they visit, our pets are comfortable with the maids. In fact, our pets follow the maids around as they work. - I never had any issue with service. They are always on time and would always call if ladies will run a little late. Service inside the house is always what I expect, my wife is always pleased. I have a cat that actually follows the ladies around when they clean which I find very funny other than that ladies are great.

Best job that I have ever seen. The cleaners even stayed behind and did much more than they should have. I will always book with them. They use friendly non-toxic products and kept my house smelling amazing

I bought the Groupon for 1.5 hours, 2 people clean. Because I have a large home I purchased another 1 hour, totalling 2.5hrs for 2 people, meaning 5 working hours. They came today. They were late, did a mediocre job, neglected key areas...fine, largely incompetent.... BUT - They broke the glass lid on an apothecary set in our master bathroom (I know this because I used it in the morning and it was there) - tried to cover it up by cleaning it off the floor - and did NOT tell us they'd broken it...AND my 4 year old stepped on a shard of the broken piece in the bathroom!!!!!!! Following this we found other tiny glass fragments of the lid on the floor. I have called to talk to the manager, Harry, who said he will call the cleaners. I have not yet decided if I will press charges, but at the VERY least I will demand them replace my glass set, apologize, and refund my fee. I will not only never use them again but will tell all who listen this story...I will also contact Groupon and let them know. I just spoke with the owner/operator of Pickering region Desperate Housemaids, Cary, who was one of the two who came!! He was evasive and finally blamed his cleaning partner (although HE was the one who cleaned the upstairs..). His response was that that services were rendered so he would not refund anything, but would book a smaller follow up clean. I told him I wouldn't trust ANYONE from his group to set foot in the house again, and to think about it overnight and let me know what he plans to do tomorrow. Shady, shady, shady....never hire them! I also bought the Groupon for 3 hours of cleaning and they sent two people for 1.5 hours. My house is 1900 square feet, 3 bed, 2 1/2 bathrooms. I asked that they dust, vacuum/sweep and mop the main floor rooms, dust and vacuum two of the three bedrooms and do a complete clean of the bathrooms. It was the worst cleaning job I've ever seen. In particular the mirrors in the bathrooms weren't cleaned, the floors still had many visible spots (i.e peanut butter from my daughter's breakfast) like they hadn't been mopped at all and one of the showers hadn't been touched. I have an extra Groupon voucher which I thought I would give to a friend since you can only use one per household but I would be embarrassed to give this service to anyone I like. I've contacted Groupon for a refund.

it didnt look like they did anything, other than SOME dusting. even at the misleading 1.5 hours rather than 3, they accomplished nearly nothing. i had left a priority list for guidance, which wasnt followed at all. i have utilized other services in the past and this was by far the worst.
