    Shingle and Eavestrough Replacement

    Firstly, we experienced a high level of customer orientation from Sales ( Nic ) to project implementation for both the roof and troughs ( Andrew & Nick respectively). Each one of these gentlemen ensured we were completely satisfied and arranged follow ups to address any issues we identified and didn't expect payment unless we were satisfied. The roof installers were excellent and did a great job. The eavestrough installers did complete the job to our satisfaction after a couple of return visits and we are very pleased with the finished product. When we have future projects, I will certainly contact Great Canadian. Thank you!

    Re roof..removal of shingles and install asphalt shingles

    We were well treated by Great Canadian Roofing. The planned work was completed on time and the cleanup was very thorough. Great Canadian Roofing would be a good choice to satisfy your roofing needs

    Roof replacement

    Their attention to detail was second to none. We were kept up to date with their progress and the whole crew were very professional and courteous. The supervisors ensured that everything was completed to our satisfaction. After the job was completed our entire yard was left spotless. Great Canadian exceeded our expectations!!

    Shingle Replacement

    We had a great experience with Great Canadian Roofing. Our brother-in-law recommended this company, and once contact was made, things ran very smoothly. We have to thank Hisham for his exceptional customer service in coming out, providing a quote, leaving samples, and making sure we had all we needed to make a decision. When we asked if the work could be done when we were going to be away, the answer was "not a problem." We came home to a new roof, a clean yard and no issues. Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly and professional. We highly recommend this company due to the quality of the work, the quality of the products they use, and most importantly, the staff who work there.

    New Roof

    This was a hail damage replacement job. Insurance company chose this company. The guys did a very good job. Worked in December which was very cold for them. Did the job in a few days and cleaned up everything every day. The garbage bin was on our driveway for much too long after the job was done. Guys were very friendly and always smiled and said hi.

    House Roof and Siding

    We contracted Great Canadian Roofing and Siding to do a complete siding of our house as well as a new roof. The roof was done first and was done very well in a timely fashion. I then contracted them to do the siding. WHAT A MISTAKE. The team they sent did not have a clue. They were rude and when they completed the job left a real mess. We complained and then the real problems started. The company said it was alright even though it was clearly buckled and pieces were falling off. They would send someone out to try and patch it up and replace they pieces that fell off. They kept coming out but nothing was done. They then threatened me with placing a lien on my house if I did not pay the holdback. I paid it and tried to follow up but it was slow and people were not very forthcoming. They finally admitted that the job was not done correctly but blamed the siding not the incompetent installers they sent out. The job was re-done and we were still not satisfied because they used a different style siding without telling us. Some time has passed and the siding is still buckled and we are not satisfied at all. This company did not really care about the quality of the job all they wanted was to get paid. I would not let this company side a doghouse. The people in charge of the siding were INCOMPETENT and the company was not interested in the quality of the work they did.

As discussed during our onsite meetings and inspections at that time, we were able to confirm with the siding manufacturer there were defects in the product supplied not the workmanship, this was the reason the siding was redone through a manufacturer claim that Great Canadian facilitated. It is our policy to collect on the contract amount after a job has been completed to the manufacturer’s specifications. When Great Canadian finishes a project and goes above and beyond to fulfill a contract, we expect to be paid as per the contract. Our file on this project has been closed for 3 year with no communication from you with any additional concerns you have recently stated. Great Canadian did not in any attempt hide or mislead you with the siding product installed.     Roof

    My house was built in 2010, Great Canadian was the roofing contractor. Before the end of 5 years warranty I noticed a shingle blow off, more inspection indicated about 1/3 of the shingles are not sealed. I contacted Great Canadian and Wes Cheyney the general manager responded almost immediately and arranged an inspected (himself and the service manager). The issue identified as material issue (something brought up by another roofing company). Wes helped me to make a complaint for the material supplier (BP Canada Building Products of Canada Corp.) Regardless of the result I can consider Great Canadian, a responsible and reliable contractor. The only recommendation I have for Great Canadian is to use material worthy for their good work (even if the builders conduct them to use the brands that don’t have a proven quality). In my case, the roofing issue made me to do a bit of research about the BP products. My lesson learned based on my own case and what I found is to think twice before using BP products. In general, my recommendation is to make sure the shingles that builders are specifying or your are using to renew your roofing has a clean history and proven quality (don’t rely on the builders’ recommendation only).

    Replaced Roof a Shingles

    This is a second roof work we have had done with Great Canadian within 2 years. A Professional organization with competent staff. I need to single out Chip Downey who is an absolute professional and great to deal with. He handled our requests and the project with great competence and speed. We will certainly recommend Great Canadian to the public at large. Thanks you all.

    Roofing

    The quality of work was excellent. The crew was very hard working and efficient. Chip was excellent in explaining what to expect and the cost. Andrew was excellent in the inspection of the work and follow up. We would recommend Great Canadian without a doubt.

    Shingles

    Insurance claim. From start to finish we received thorough, speedy and quality service from the company. Very impressed with the state of cleanliness that the area was left in each day! Also, we appreciate not hearing swearing during conversations from the roofers (as we live in a community with small children.) very respectful!! The shingles look great!
