    New home

My husband and I are super grateful we stumbled upon Daytona Homes while searching to buy our new home. We were undecided if we were going preowned or brand new. Looking into what Daytona Homes provided easily made that decision for us. From start to finish we were always taken care of and the customer service was phenomenal. The ladies in the Stewart Greens show home (Lorna & Tara) were nothing but the best. Their commitment and what they do for customers is way beyond what their standard job duties entail. Many times they stayed after hours or made themselves available by phone to finish paperwork with us or discuss next steps. If we ran into roadblocks, they were always there with solutions or support. If we had to do it all over again, we would do it with Daytona Homes. Thank you for making this home purchase the best experience it could have been. Oct 29 2019 So 4 years later I change my stars and would not recommend Daytona Homes to build with. Our awesome experience ended with the ladies in the show home. After our purchase, it all went downhill from there. As far as any kind of assistance or warranty issues, Daytona passes the buck. As soon as your one year is up, you’re on your own even if you tried bringing the issues up during that first year. We have brought several things up to Daytona in regards to our new home about issues that technically shouldn’t be happening in only four years but keep getting the run around and eventually an answer of “not Daytona’s issue to deal with”. When you call into warranty and ask for someone to come out to discuss/look into an issue, you get a guy coming out just to waste your time. Nothing is ever done. You ask to speak to someone higher up to get something done and you’re still passed off to the bottom of the totem pole guy. My only advice would be to look for a builder and research before you decide to have them build your home. I would never choose Daytona to build with or buy an inventory home with again.

    Home Builders

I have purchased six homes and never have I experienced the Daytona Homes experience. Now that I have I will only by my new homes from Daytona Master Builder. A scale of 10 does not do them justice when they go above and beyond to make your home buying experience first rate. The sales team that sold me my home was highly professional, friendly and dedicated to our needs. The construction team truly built our dream home. Incredible people with a caring and kind persona - 20 out of 10 stars :o)

    New Home

I have bought 8 New Homes over the past 15 Years. My Daytona Home Outshines all the rest. The Quality of the Work done was fantastic. Deficiencies where documented at our walkthrough and all completed. The home was not delivered on the Target Date However I am glade the Home was done to the Standard that I expected. The Benz Floor plan is Amazing! works perfectly for us.

    new home

Our experience with Daytona was fabulous. From our sales experience to our decor selection, through to the construction process, the craftsmanship of the finished product and the efficiency of the warranty team. All of our questions were answered quickly and being first time home buyers, everyone made the process seamless. We love our home and loved buying with Daytona. We would absolutely recommend them as a builder.

    Home

Chose Daytona to build new home because of the practical layout. Sales people were awesome...but don't have words to describe the poor workmanship. Don't bother complaining to this company...they will just give you empty promises. It's best I just give a list of what is went wrong with this home or I will not have room to write... 1) back closet is full of frost in the winter 2) hose bib burst ( no fault of mine) and ran into my (finished) basement 3) dishwasher not installed properly and leaked, ruining my floor 4) pipes under sink started to leak leaving me with water damage (again) in my basement...this is after I reno'd it from the first water damage 5) I have repaired my hot water tank and furnace within the first 2 years 6) Front veranda never received it's second coat of paint and finally 4 years later they will come do it and fix the deck boards that were layed too close together preventing drainage (at least they say they are coming) 7) I was promised at time of possession that Daytona would wash down the dirty house but that never happened 8) I have had siding repaired because Daytona thought it was OK to use damaged siding 9) Sod on the one side of yard was never laid right...ground is so soft you will sink Unfortunately, a lot of these things were discovered after "1 year" so Daytona will do nothing, and fixing the latest water damage is out of my pocket seeing it is not worth using insurance 3 times in one year. From what I hear from other Daytona homeowners, my problems are not uncommon. This company cuts every corner it can get away with...and they get away with a lot!!! My suggestion...STAY AWAY!!!! This company should not be allowed to continue operating!

    new house

Disgusting! Very good sales pitch. Layout of the home is great, easy to deal with at the beginning. A LOT of mistakes during construction process which we had to point out. Home specs that we wanted weren't carried out so we had them deconstruct the mistakes and rebuild again. Many unfinished construction inside the house during closing, still not done after 6 months! Site supervisor and construction managers are very arrogant and inflexible if you start complaining. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BUILDER! If for some reason they convince you to do business with them, DO NOT CLOSE ON THE HOUSE UNTIL EVERYTHING IS FINISHED. They do not follow suit with their promises on time and would likely take them the entire warranty period of 1 year to fix things your house.

    New Home

The worst home buying experience. Should have done more research and read all the negative reviews here. Nobody ever gets back to you, broken promises and deadlines. Zero customer service after you sign, as I said they dont call you back, you have to drive out to them to get some answers and more broken promises, Never again will I go with Daytona Homes. I won't recommend them to my worst enemy.

    New home

Just don't! This builder cuts corners and does not deliver as promised. Quality is not there - it's as though the show homes are built perfect and you are left with a mess. The warranty department is horrible. They don't follow completely through if something requires fixing. They will bring the trade out to repair the deficient items but don't follow through to return damages to 'purchased quality'. It is a constant battle with this team of people. They will tell you they do not schedule for anything. I regret this purchase day in and out. One peace of advise if you do decide to build - HIRE AN INSPECTOR prior to taking your keys. Many items do not meet building code.

    new home build

Daytona is a decent homebuilder. However, the follow up service is not great. When fixing nailpops, they will only mud the pop and the owners are left to paint. The water lines in our home were placed too close to the walls. When we put in a small nail, a water line was punctured and our house flooded. Our child's bedroom had a ton of water in the ceiling. They sent out plumbers to fix the puntured line and only muded the ceiling. Nothing else. I spoke with the plumbers when they came out to fix the line. They told me that they are called out on many of the same type of calls for Daytona Homes. Daytona has assisted people who don't have their full downpayment with getting into their homes. For example, they will put down that they are charging for a developed basement and instead of developing it they will give you the money. We did not go this route, but know many that have.

    New Home

I have been very unimpressed by Daytona. From day one, my experience with them has been a headache. The sales person at the showhome was unprofessional and never able to answer any of my questions. He promised things that were never delivered. After my house was built, certain upgrades were missed and it's taken months for this to be rectified. Several other problems arose with regards to quality of workmanship. I have been in my house for almost a year and am still missing a strip of siding. Aesthetically- nice finishings and layout; however, the quality and reliability of trades is not up to par. If i could return in time, I would do more research and not build with this builder.
