    New A/C

    Mark and his associate were professional, communicative, polite and respectful. They came on time. They cleaned up and took the garbage away. Mark followed up the next day to make sure everything was good. It was a very positive experience.

    Heat Pump Servicing

    Most other companies refused to service my unit because of workload. Mark and his team were able to get my cooling on my heat pump running again in a relatively short time. Thanks!

    Minor Project

    They were quick to respond and prompt in arranging date. Having a small job, tough to find electrician. They had no issue coming. Job waa done well, properly and on time. Neat, polite and courteous. Definitely recommend their services.

    Amazing service, amazing price, great people!

    Needed my A/C unit relocated. They provided amazing fast service. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Great price. Covid friendly with masks, distancing etc. Would highly recommend!!!

    Honest and thorough

    Overall good communication and very thorough and honest team. They had given advance notice that they would be late because of another urgent job, so that was appreciated. They replaced and redid the wiring on two kitchen electrical outlets, one which was causing sparks. They were very thorough in their work and even made sure the receptacle cover was not slanted. They did quite a few checks and overall satisfed with both their quality of work and their prices.

    Marc and James set up 2 stage AC

    Had new AC and furnace installed. Complication with setting up 2 stage on AC. The company I purchased it from reached out to Housedepot to complete the job. Marc and James came to the house assessed the problem then returned and finished the job to my satisfaction. They were prompt and courteous and explained to me what they were doing and why. Upon completion they thoroughly cleaned up any mess that was made. All Covid protocols were properly followed. I would recommend them for any HVAC and electrical work that you may need.

    Pot lights installation , repairs to electrical outlets and light fixtures installation

    Detail oriented , accommodating and came to address an issue on short notice. They don’t rush the job and they were open to negotiate. They installed pot lights and came back to address an issue with the dimmers.

    WIRING & APPLIANCE INSTALLATION

    I cannot recommend this company to other customers. They took my money but did not complete the job. I had to hire another company - at additional cost - to complete the job. I hired the company to run wires throughout the main floor of my house and install some appliances. The wires were run correctly; however the installation was defective and would not work. I HAD TO HIRE ANOTHER COMPANY TO COMPLETE THE JOB. I was not satisfied with their work.

    I have been in business, all my life, and never seen a customer like you. You asked us to do rough in 8 speaker wires for your house, we agreed for 800 dollars, patching and painting the holes to fish the speaker wires were not include. once the roughing the speaker wires were done, you did not pay us, and asked if we do not do the patching and painting as before, then you are going to write us a bad review. so you compelled me, to hire another person for two days extra work, which costed me extra $800 to do the job free of cost. once the job was finished you paid us $800. Then two days later you asked me to come and connect the speakers, Receivers, splitters, and many other parts for free of charge. Which i refused and i said, this man is using review to get free rides. sometimes we have to do what we have to do to stop bullying tactics by you.

    Electrical troubleshooting (GFCI)

    I had an on-going issue with my GFCI outlet + downstream outlets, all originally installed by my house contractor. I finally decided to call House Depot Home Services via HomeStars for help. Their guy not only corrected the problem but also explained to me the cause of the problem. Excellent job indeed.

    Replacement Boiler and Tankless Water Heater

    Having previously called in a well known Toronto heating company more than 6 times, including 3 site visits and work completed, on Dec 31, they informed me that the water heater had to be shutdown for safety violations. The quote provided for replacement was exorbitant, especially given the work and call outs that had come before specifically to prevent this very situation. In looking for additional quotes, we found House Depot Home Services on HomeStars. Thank goodness we did! Mark and Amir came out during the New Years weekend, and were able to star the following week. The replacement of an old system in a century home was not without its challenges but Mark and Amir worked tirelessly to complete, and removed all the old redundant pipes and installed the new system. A few weeks later, when the system had settled, there were a few leaks but a quick call to Mark and Amir had all things tightened up and working well again! I highly recommend House Depot Home Services, for the quality of work, care and time that they give to each customer! They were so dedicated to ensuring the job was done well and really came to our rescue! The before and after photos say it all! Mark and Amir tidied up and removed all the old pipes and fixtures and did a phenomenal job installing the new one. Oh yeah, and the previous company wanted to charge an additional 2k on top of the quote to do the work that Mark practically insisted on completing at time of replacement, and was included in the very reasonable quote! Thanks Mark & Amir!
