I was told the dishwasher I bought had a stainless steel tub. It was installed and had some issues, and after a week the repair people came and informed me the tub was - in fact - plastic. I was confused and called the salesperson who realized he made and error and owned it right away. So, frustrated but understanding (we are all human), I began what should have been a straightforward return. Yes it was installed, but it was supposed to be stainless steel and while I did not crawl inside the dishwasher to verify it (who would?) it was not obvious to the average consumer. the inside was an almost black 'felt like steel' material that matched the black stainless steel exterior. To the eye, it all looked the same.
CAS wanted nothing to do with this return. I had to threaten legal action before they would acknowledge me, and even then, did not want it back. They acknowledged the error was their own but it was an uphill climb every step of the way. They did not reimburse for my install or even ever say 'geez, we are really sorry'. They just kept going on about how they would have to write it off now and did not want to. That is simply not my problem. It took almost 2 months and relentless follow up that drained me in every way. I could have accepted the mistake (we are all human) but never will I accept how they chose to handle it. Disgraceful and an embarrassment to themselves.
If you go there, you are likely to find very nice and knowledgeable people and great prices. But if you need any after sales support, and they have your money, well you are in trouble at that point. I think a company really demonstrates itself after the sale...and I could never shop there again or recommend.
