Then the washing machine was damaged as it was brought in and the dryer wasn’t stacked properly. The fights I’ve had to have to get them to come fix it have been infuriating. Worse has been that they’ve refused to replace the dented washing machine because they say we accepted it, even though my wife wrote damage on the form and didn’t sign it. They then offered us $90 and blamed us for the problem. This company had great salespeople and good prices but it’s been a nightmare since making the purchase.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Originally very pleased with customer service at showcase location in Whitby. But, when scheduling delivery, Call Centre agent basically said if I didn't have anyone home during the window that they provide you the day before, that I could go pick up the appliances myself. Nice! Some of us work and don't want to take a whole day off work because MAYBE the appliances will be delivered during the day. Not everyone can schedule a day off one day prior to the date required. Also, when the refrigerator was delivered, they created a gouge in our brand new flooring with their dolly. No apology. When contacting the Home Delivery Team about the issue, the response was "you signed the receipt saying no damage was done to the premises". I acknowledge that I made the error in signing. However, no accountability was taken for their error. No apology. No refund on the delivery fee. Nothing. This company demonstrates zero compassion for their customers post sale. I would never recommend them!Answer from pro:

We try to be very clear from the beginning regarding our delivery process that we cannot accommodate delivery windows and that the customer is advised of their window the day prior to delivery. We can provide you with the date of delivery up to 2 weeks out however we are not able to provide the time window until the day prior. This is industry standard. For your convenience, we do provide Saturday deliveries one day a month at the regular price as well as offer more options including evenings and Saturdays for an additional fee. I'm sorry to hear that there is a gouge on your floor, however, as you state, you signed that there was no damage done at the time of delivery.

Replacing counter top in kitchen from granite to Quartz and decided to replace gas cooktop. Found the company on line and visited their store in Barrie on Sunday. I was there at 9.00am and found store did not open until 10. Staff member arrived at 9.15 and willingly opened up. Excellent and friendly service and will use again.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

I bought a GE gas stove that came delivered damaged the door was not even attached and screws fell out of it when I opened it, and the product was defective as the oven did not work. The gas installer told me I got a lemon and they should exchange it, well it's been a nightmare dealing with customer support and all I get is a robot automated email back no human calling me back to resolve this. I want the stove to be replaced but they are passing the buck and asking GE to fix it instead and it needs the control board replaced. This is unacceptable that a brand new stove needs a major repair on day 1. I am still fighting them to get a new one and my sister same thing her dishwasher was damaged and took weeks for a reply, AVOID this store at all costs if you don't want to be stressed out.Answer from pro:

Bought fridge gas stove and dish washer from the Matheson store my salesman was mike.excellent salesman to deal with not pushy like some saleman are .gave me a super deal. I purchased a Bosh dishwasher. It leaked upon installation (by the CAS recommended installer, who made sure to tell us it wasn't leaking when he left...). CAS customer service sent me an email asking for photos of the problem, ending with "Canadian Appliance Source Corp. reserves the right at its sole discretion to approve or decline the application". I called my sales person, who said he was sorry my new dishwasher was leaking, and gave me a number to call Bosch for faster service. My dishwasher was repaired 3 weeks later. No follow up or ownership of the problem from CAS. Bottom line - CAS has a good selection of product, and fair pricing, but do not count on them for after sales service. Other local appliance retailers (Corbeil, Universal Appliances) provide good selection, fair pricing, and much better service.Answer from pro:

As Bosch manufactured your dishwasher, they hold the warranty and are responsible for any repairs. I am happy to hear that Bosch has fixed your dishwasher.

Very nasty customer service. Tries to deliver appliance in the middle of the work day then ask you to pay for another delivery and you have no idea of the scheduled time. Customer service manager sucks. Stay away. As some one said everything is great until they have your money.Answer from pro:
Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, we are unable to locate an order under the name provided. Would you please provide your order number to our Customer Care team at cs@caslp.ca so we can look into the details of your concerns? With regard to your delivery, we provide a 3 or 4-hour delivery window the day prior to delivery date and do expect someone to be home throughout that time. If there is no one at home when the team arrives, they will wait for 15 minutes but then will leave. We do need to collect payment for another delivery fee prior to scheduling another delivery date.
