Review from HomeOwner Review left on 10 Apr 2018Rating: 5 out of 5I have been shopping for a new fridge for a little while and not having much luck with the stores that I visited. I went online and found the fridge I wanted. I called the London store and when London was busy my call was sent to the Kitchener store without my even knowing that it had done so. I spoke with Carm and got an even better price than what was showing online. Carm was very helpful, he even discounted the extended warranty. Very pleased with the personal service I have received.Review from Customer of Canadian Appliance Source Customer of Canadian Appliance Source

Although we knew which appliance we wanted to purchase, Bruce was very knowledgeable in answering all of our questions about said appliance. We needed our appliance ASAP and he made sure that we had a delivery date before we left the store. He kept us informed as to when the order went in, sent an email and called when our appliance was at the store ready for pick up...all when expected.Review from Customer of Canadian Appliance Source Customer of Canadian Appliance Source

They had a good selection of Dishwashers and the sales person wasn't pushy. I found the dishwasher I wan't at a decent price so I bought it. I am also looking to buy a New stove sometime this year. I will definitely check them out first.Review from A Happy Guy A Happy Guy

Scott really came through for us with flying colours! He was very knowledgeable about the products I had already selected and quickly proved to me that there was a better choice. He followed up with online data and reviews that fully supported his recommended alternative. As to pricing, he went to bat to ensure we had the best deal available and I was very pleased with the end result. I would definitely seek out Scott again for any future appliance requirement.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner
Review left on 5 Apr 2018Rating: 5 out of 5Purchase of Refrigerator and Washing Machine
We recently purchased a refrigerator and washing machine for our new home up north. We visited the CAS location near our current home in Kitchener. Ruby Singodia was our sales person who first sold us our refrigerator and two week later when we returned to purchase a washing machine I made sure that Ruby was the person who looked after us for this purchase too. The product selection in store is great and the availability of other products through the CAS network is fantastic. With Ruby's help we were able to ensure that we got both of our new appliances delivered at the same time (we purchased them on two different dates). Ruby was also very good at providing us with her assistance and asking for our business without being overbearing and obnoxious. The first time that I went to a CAS location (Barrie) I was a little put off by the sales representative set up but I quickly found that we were dealing with people who are product specialists. I look forward to the CAS 'white glove' delivery experience later this month.Review from Customer of Canadian Appliance Source Customer of Canadian Appliance Source

After researching various makes and models on-line, we visited CAS at 65 Dufflaw Road, Toronto. We found our salesperson, Ahmed Younes, to be very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. He answered all our questions patiently and comprehensively. We rate Ahmed a 10 out of 10. However, the automated Home Delivery system could not initially arrange delivery within the 7-hour window (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) required by our condominium. Gaston at Customer Care was courteous and sensitive to our needs and co-ordinated delivery satisfactorily. We will definitely choose CAS for our next appliance purchase.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Jamie Malamud a sales representative assisted my husband & I with a refrigerator and stove for our home. He has great product knowledge which convinced us to purchase both items. I would not hesitate to promote the Canadian Appliance Source as we both experienced a great service with Jamie. Now looking forward to our delivery! :)Review from Customer of Canadian Appliance Source Customer of Canadian Appliance Source

WARNING!!! Do not buy appliances from. Canadian Appliance Source, (C.A.S). After my recent purchase of $10,000 worth of new appliances for my new home I strongly recommend that no one shop at this appliance store. Up to now I have been a return customer at C.A.S. I have also recommended them to friends and family who have also made large purchaces. They may offer a bit better prices on some items but it's not worth it. They have HORRIBLE customer service!!! This is my story of what they just did to me... I received my appliances on a Thursday afternoon after paying in full. I wanted to wait 24hrs before plugging in the fridge. I've heard to leave it unplugged anywhere from 6 to 24hrs to let the oil settel after transport. To be safe I waited 24hrs. I was busy unpacking my other stuff from my move anyway. It was late Friday so I didn't get to plug the fridge in till Saturday. After coming back to the fridge a few hours later to put my food in it I realized it wasn't getting cold. I decided to give it overnight to see if it would get cold. Sunday morning and still warm inside. So I immediately called my salesman "Carm." I was told I was past their 48hour exchange policy and had to get the manufacturer to repair it. What!? First off if you consider me having to wait to plug it in, I was within the 48hours. Secondly, it's not like I used it for a week and then it broke down. It just never worked at all from brand new. I understand that it's a machine and sometimes you get a malfunction straight from the factory. Even a $20,000 Wolf Subzero could fail. What my concern is how the retailer or manufacture deal with it. I argued to have them send me a new one to exchange and when I wasn't getting anywhere I asked for a manage. I left multiple messages with the manager, some so called J. Kelly fella. No return call! When I called the salesman Carm back to ask what's going on he acctually gave me attitude. "We'll I can't just go physically pick up the manager. He's busy. He'll get back to you." Still no return call 2 weeks later. I mean, it's just basic customer service... you buy something, it doesn't work, you return it, they give you a new one. Not complicated. I tried the manufacture, Frigidaire but didn't get anywhere with them either. I decided to try and go ahead and call a repair man. Didn't seem like I had much choice. The repair man came and diagnosed that it needed a control board. The next day he came to install a new board but it didn't fix it. Had to order a main computer board which wouldn't come in till the following week. We'll two weeks later and I finally have a working fridge. It wouldn't be so bad if it was a dishwasher or something but a fridge is hard to do without, especially with a 6 year old that you have to make lunches for. We did end up throwing out food that spoiled early on. For the rest of the 2 weeks I had to go buy a bar fridge to get buy with. Guess what... I didn't buy it from C.A.S. I didn't need this extra aggravation since I am busy enough trying to settle into a new house. The manager, salesman and everyone else at Canadian Appliance Source are just ignoring me and waiting till I go away. But, I'm not going away. Not yet at least. I'm starting with Facebook to try and discredit Canadian Appliance Source. Then I'll put in bad reviews on as many other sites as i can find. If I can prevent even just one new customer from buying from them it'll be worth it. Again please please do not buy appliances from Canadian Appliance Source, (C.A.S). They have TERRIBLE customer service. If you buy a new appliance from them and it doesn't work your stuck dealing with a repairman which could take weeks to finally get that appliance working. C.A.S. may seem to offer a bit of a better price on some items but trust me it's not worth the aggravation. After the cost of spoiled food and having to buy a bar fridge to get buy it ended up costing me more in the long run. I will never buy anything again from C.A.S. and I strongly recommend that anyone reading this doesn't either. Thanks for reading.Answer from pro:
Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that your fridge does not cool. The first year you have the appliance it is fully covered under the manufacturer's warranty, any issue is subject to the manufacturer's policy. Our records indicate that you received the fridge on March 22 and advised us of the issue on March 26. As it was a functional issue, our Returns/Service department created an urgent *rush* service request with Electrolux(Frigidaire) on March 27, and on March 31, we received confirmation from Electrolux that their technician had already been out to inspect your fridge. I understand that this is an inconvenience, however, I believe we worked to have this resolved in as timely a manner as possible. If the unit is deemed defective/unrepairable the manufacturer will arrange a replacement. Regards, CAS

We had purchased from CAS before, and always had a good experience. We had a fair idea of the products we wanted to purchase. However, Sam Gunarathnam at CAS gave us decisive advice, and calculated a fair price for range and freezer, including extended warranty for the range. Overall another excellent experience. We certainly recommend this company and their friendly staff.
