Please review their exchange/refund and delivery policies, you will find that you have no consumer protection after sales with this company. My experience. I purchased a new GE washer online, and I paid for delivery and installation. After delivery, upon trying to run a cycle, door lock error and hence it would not start. Contacted CAS within 1 hr after delivery and installation to request an exchange or refund of this unused defective unit. Exchange/refund declined by Wayne (CAS Return Authorization) as it is installed and hence it is subject to the manufacturers warranty to repair, (NOT exchange). Who wants to repair a NEW appliance? They contacted GE to have a service call on my behalf. That is it with their after sales service. Alain (Canadian Appliance Source After Sales) and Treshna (Canadian Appliance After Sales) were throwing the Consumer Protection Law at me and persistently declined an exchange. After 2 weeks of communicating with them and 1 failed attempt to repair the washer by a third party contracted by GE, I had to contact GE myself. The customer care manager agreed to replace my defective washer. However, my model (top of the line) was not in stock for another 3 weeks and since my family was without a washer for over 2 weeks already, I had to accept a lower line 650 model and absorb the cost difference as they dont provide credit. Lesson: I should have just purchased the appliance directly from the manufacturer. Paid for everything and ended up needing to resolve the matter myself with GE. Canadian Appliance Source failed to fulfil the contract with me in providing a functionable appliance that we agreed upon in the sales agreement.
