I bought an Amana refridgerator from CAS and I was day dreaming of my so cool fridge to come... Until the delivery men came with a first unit that showed a scratch on one side, a hump on the other and a major manufacturing defect: radiator scrubbing on floor and add to that that a caster was scratching my kitchen floor! I knew right from the start there was something wrong because the power cord was not folded tightly and fixed into the little square at the bottom of the back ( I have checked With Whirpool Canada ) but simply taped upward at the back of the fridge.
I was already furious because I knew that I wolud have to spend a lot of money to feed myself out of my home but as if it was not enough, they came this morning with a replacement unit that showed a chip on the vinyl coating at the bottom of the left side and, once again, a power cord not where it is supposed to be. That was enough for me, I told the guys to take it back to the store and asked, demanded for a full refund.
More, I tried to communicate with their Customer service many times by phone and emails and they just don't answer. The only time they did is when I agreed to give them a second chance to diliver with a replacement unit. Many emails, an attempt to communicate with them on Paypal and BBB Websites leading to no response at all.
This is my worst ever online shopping experience, I am so angry I simply can't find the words to express it! Do yourself a favor: never buy from Canadian Appliance Source, they are totally disonnest people!
