    New appliances

Showroom, 442 Millen Road, Stoney Creek. Dealt with Sales Associate, Josh Z. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. Bought appliances within the hour and left very satisfied. I wish to express our satisfaction with the delivery by Ovation! 2 excellent gentlemen! We were very satisfied with another Sales Associate, Fred C., who came to our home to install the Dishwasher and water source for the refrigerator. We highly recommend this company! Much better than the big box stores.

    Washer/dryer purchase

I called the store and spoke with Nick Brady. I had an idea what I wanted. Without a need to set foot in the store Heard, Nick was very good in helping me to sort through my ideas and options. He arranged to prompt delivery...everything was as expected. Thank you Nick!

    STAY AWAY

They sell you junk and won't return anything. I bought a $3500 refrigerator that has not worked properly since the first day I got it. I called them right away and they have been giving me the run around ever since. Its been 3 weeks and I still have this refrigerator in my kitchen that sounds like a lawnmower. They tell me to call the manufacturer and deal with them. STAY AWAY - they take your money and run. I feel like I was robbed. I will be doing everything in my power to expose this shady business. Don't be fooled by lower prices - their appliances are all junk that's why they are cheap. UPDATE: Here is a quote from the Better Business Bureau's website (I wish I would have read it before trusting Canadian Appliance Source) "BBB files indicate a pattern of complaints for this business. Consumers have advised our office that they have received damaged and/or non-functioning appliances from the business. However, the business will not exchange or refund items and instead states that it is the manufacturer's issue. In addition, any exchange that does occur is accompanied by a $25% restocking fee."! Check out their website where MANY complaints are documented: http://www.bbb.org/kitchener/business-reviews/appliances-major-dealers/canadian-appliance-source-in-north-york-on-1179606/complaints

Canadian Appliance Source sells with a wide range of appliances, all factory sealed, and all appliances we sell come with a full one year manufacturers warranty on the products. Any issue with the appliance will be addressed with the manufacturer. They will send out one of their licensed technicians, and should the product be deemed defective, a replacement will be issued. Fridge

Alex Polak in the Ottawa store provided amazing service with great product knowledge. He made the experience painless and easy for someone who has never purchased a fridge before. I would highly recommend anybody to go see him!

    Poor customer service

I ordered a washer and let the customer service people know that I rent out that property and live out of town so I need the delivery to be after 5 during the week or anytime on the weekend, when my tenants are home. They said they cannot guarantee before 5 but they will put a note in the system that nobody will be there before 5 and to not come before then. I told them to cancel, if my stop is on their roster before 5. Any way, I received an automated message that they will be there before noon, I called and said they have to come after 5. We re-booked again and I said it had to be after 5 and then I received another automated message that it will be delivered in the morning. So I called back again and sent another email saying to come after 5. This time they sent me to the delivery department and they said they don't do deliveries after 5 or on weekends. I don't know why they didn't tell me this in the first place. At this point, I've rescheduled 3x. They also said I'm going to be charged for the delivery fee for them making an attempt to deliver, even though I told them 3x that nobody is there before 5. Also, if I wanted to cancel, I'd be subject to a 20% restock fee. I argued paying for the delivery fee, just out of principal and they said they will not deliver my washer if I don't pay for the past failed delivery attempt. I reminded them that this is horrible customer service and it's wrong to make a customer pay for their mess ups. I'd rather pay more and get better customer service. I'm regretting ordering my washer online.

Hello, We're sorry you didn't have an overall good experience with us, and would like to make it right. We work closely with our delivery courier, and offer delivery times between 9-5 Monday- Friday. The day before delivery, we provide a 4 hour time window on when the delivery is set to arrive. A time frame is not guaranteed, but we can definitely work with the delivery team to see if this can accommodated. If you would like to send us the information, we will cancel the order at no penalty to you. Sincerely, Katelyn CAS Relations cs@canadianappliancesource.ca
