    Stove

    We had excellent service from Morgan Sutherland. He answered all our questions and we will go there again and buy from him and tell our friends about Canadian Appliance too.

    range, fride, microwave, hood fan

    I had the pleasure of dealing with George Moutoulas for the purchase of my stove, fridge, microwave, and hood fan. I found George to be very knowledgeable and helpful. He spent many hours helping us make the right decision. George is very smart and intelligent person and has a very bright future in sales or whatever his future desires are. I would recommend George to all my family and friend for their appliance needs.

    Ask to see Alex Polak for great service!!!

    I went to a few stores to fit my new home with all the needed appliances. I am extremely turned off by pushy sales people and experience that until I went to Canadian Appliance and was fortunate enough to get Alex Polak. Alex knew his products and was able to make recommendations without it being a sales pitch or upselling. Alex also provided me prices that beat the competitors. I bought all my appliances from him and LOVE all of them. Thanks Alex! Life time customer!!

    Household Appliances

    I purchased five appliances for our new home and am extremely satisfied with the unbeatable prices offered by CAS and the outstanding service that we received from Alex. Communication was excellent throughout the process and our appliances were delivered on the exact date that we requested. I highly recommend CAS.

    Purchase of washer and dryer

    After speaking with Dave Thomas on the phone when he told me that they provide both washer and dryer installation and removal of old items at very reasonable cost , my wife and I hightailed it to their showroom on Cartwright Avenue, about a half hour drive from our home. We met with Dave who treated us very professionally. We were really impressed with his knowledge of product. He made a price for purchase, installation and removal that was better than we had expected after much of our internet searching. We truly enjoyed dealing with Dave and have no hesitation in recommending dealing with him and Canadian Appliance Source.

    Terrible and poor delivery service, great prices and sales person assistance

    Was booked for 8am-12pm delivery window and it showed up at 5pm! No support whatsoever from delivery company customer care, they kept changing my delivery windows passed the delivery time I was told and after every time I called in to verify the reason of no-show for the delivery at the time I was told. After the no-show of the first time window, I also asked to have the delivery moved at 5pm, and seemingly it couldn't be done as I was given the same excuse from the customer support person that there were issues to be in touch with their drivers to verify their location. In addition to this, once the delivery finally arrived, speaking to the drivers and asking them the reason why of the delay on the delivery, their answer was that they were not advised of my 8am-12pm window, they were running late but they could have helped me out confirming a later delivery for me at 5pm. A total waste of time! Canadian Appliance Source offers competitive prices and the sales person was very helpful also in helping processing the payment as I can confirm the same issue of paying the balance after they take the deposit, as noted in a previous review; though their delivery system gave me a very bad impression which won't make me going back to them to purchase appliances.

    Great prices with some significant downsides

    Very competitive prices, but the delivery process is seriously flawed: CAS doesn't install dishwashers, so customers need to hire a third-party installer to pick it up and install it. However, bizarrely, customers aren't allowed to pay the balance online AND have someone else pick it up at the warehouse—you have to physically be in store to pay, OR give the pickup person (in this case, the installer) your credit card to bring to the pickup. The former is not possible for most people who work during the day and the latter is silly. And no whisper of this "policy" is explained before purchase. The result: customers are forced to pay CAS for delivery ($55) in order to be able to pay online, then hire a third-party installer to meet you at home for installation. But! The price the CAS salesperson quotes you for installation ($100) is not the same as the installer's quote ($150)—at least in my case. Which annoys the installer ("why are they telling people how much I charge for my own services?") and the customer, who's baffled by it all. After 11 calls featuring varied degrees of frustration, between the salesperson (Adib), the installer and customer service, (extension 909) Ingrid sorted it out. Very good prices, but the CAS experience so far has been a headache.

    Updated Jan. 29,2016 Delivered wrong item. Then redeliver dented. Delivers wrong time. Delivery problems ongoing....

    We decided to get the LG WM8000HVA TurboWash Series Front Load Steam Washer 6.0 Cu,Ft and LG DLEX8000V Front Load Electric Steam Dryer, 9.0 Cu.Ft. We bought these on sale in December and these particular models were discontinued. I was inform by another competitor that the Canadian Appliance Source's discontinued pricing on these was below cost and recommended to buy them, so we did. We requested for morning and early afternoon delivery for January 7. I got a call that delivery was only available that afternoon that day so we reschedule for January 13. I called on January 13 to confirm delivery and due to a misunderstanding was rescheduled again for January 15,2016. They delivered the wrong washer and dryer set. I asked the driver if there was another washer and dryer in the back of the truck. A look of horror came over his face and he said 'No.' I thought he was joking at first. The LG's I ordered in store had a steel front, grey sides and square glass doors and even though they were heavily discounted they were still about $1000 more than the smaller white ones that arrived. He informed me that he had just installed them in the previous house an hour away. Looking panicked, he called the store up and confirmed that the previous customer was supposed to receive the smaller white set but that owner didn't say anything. My old washer and dryer were returned back into my home. An hour and a half later, they returned with the last set of LG's store wide. Out my old set went out again and in came the new dryer until I noticed dents and scratches on both fronts. I was offered a $150 reduction to make up for the scratches and dents or the 2016 version at cost but it was still around $650 more. I was undecided about the offer, so I sent them back for the time being and my old washer and dryer returned back into the house again. Because of liability, the driver/installer was not allowed to reinstall our old washer and dryer but did hook up the venting. I attempted to reinstall my old washer and dryer but because of limited space I ended up ripping the venting. Our old, semi-functioning washer and dryers were moved and bounced up and down the stairs so much that they are now unlevelled and the metal cover casing on the washer now shifts off it's base if I attempt to push it into place. I don't dare use them as I can tell it's now damaged. It was laughable at first but now I'm just upset and still not knowing what to do. At this point I've missed out on last years model clearance pricing and my family's dirty laundry is piling up. The staff seems nice and were very apologetic. For medical reasons (LG's are certified by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America), size and pricing were the reasons we choose this set. I have no idea if the other customer still has my set and my husband was not keen on taking the damaged one received. Unfortunately, this is my first bad review. I really hated to do it. ** Update January 29 They got the other washer and dryer back. Store Manager was apologetic offered me a $250 discount on the set as these too were scratched up. Delivery was scheduled for any time TODAY except for the time between 2pm and 4pm (real unavailability was between 2:40pm and 4pm in case they ran late and to accommodate set up). Drivers run late as expected and calls me at 2:15pm and tell me they are going to arrive at 2:45pm. I inform them that I will not here and previously had instructed as such. Delivery manager calls me and tell me he was not informed of these arrangements. I told them they informed as I was in store when the Store Manager called in to confirm delivery availability and times. Delivery Manager tells me he doesn't want his men waiting around for 2 hours and then tells me they are right outside my door to deliver. I look out the window. They are not there. Next delivery availability apparently is now Monday, Feb.1, 2016. I highly doubt I will get them on Monday. With all the problems I've been having with delivery, the Delivery Manager was unsympathetic and would not accommodate. Update # 2. Availability is now Thursday, Feb. 4 2016. I attempted to look for these washers and dryers elsewhere but have been informed that they too are sold out. Keep you posted... Update # 3. Got the Delivery date moved up to Wednesday, Feb 3, 2016. Sometime between Jan. 29th and Feb. 3, the washer was sent to someone else. Yes, it happened again. Luckily, the Manager was able to locate another for me and it arrived at 1pm. 5 minutes after the installers left, I got a call from the Appliance Delivery. They informed me that they were on their way to deliver my washer and dryers...WHAT!!!?? Just happy to finally get our washer and dryers.

    Dishwasher purchase

    Walked in with a good idea of the dishwasher I wanted but looked for additional insights to confirm my choice. Ajay was polite, direct and knowledgable. His information solidified my choice of a Bosch 500 series. He then checked pricing and came back with a price better than my expectation - and lower than the dozen other retailers I contacted. Efficient, knowledgable, friendly and cheaper than expected. Doesn't get much better than that!
