We hired Almac 6 years ago to do our backyard and have absolutely loved it. It is our little piece of tranquil paradise. This year Almac was back! This time to redo our front sidewalks, veranda, retaining wall, side yard fence and drainage. The same team that we enjoyed working with 6 years ago was back. With 8 men arriving early and working hard each day the job was completed amazingly quick. The team worked with us each step of the way and were willing to make changes as we went to ensure we got what we wanted. The crew works so well together and clearly enjoy each others company. It was fun sharing homemade cookies, muffins and coffee with them and sharing their good humor and laughter. Alan followed up after the job to ensure everything was in order. Thanks again Almac for the second time around. Job well done!

Having just moved to Calgary and not knowing who to call for some landscaping that we wanted done, we are so glad that we found out about Almac Landscaping on Homestars website. From the first moment we met Alan, we were so impressed with his ideas, enthusiasm and his professionalism that we did not hesitate to hire Almac to do the work we wanted done and they did not disappoint. The same professionalism was demonstrated by Dennis and his crew. The work that we had done was to install rock and stepping stones between our house and our neighbours home, enlarge an existing concrete patio area, create new planting beds all around our house, enlarge two existing planting beds and install soldier coursing around all of the planting beds. They spent a week working at our home, were there bright and early each morning and worked hard throughout the day. This crew knew what they were doing and we were so impressed by the quality of the work and the way they worked together. Alan was there each day checking on the progress. The final outcome was outstanding and really adds to the value of the home. We would not hesitate to call on Almac again in the future and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality landscaping company to trust. Thanks again!!!

I am extremely satisfied with the transformation of my front and back yard. Alan provided a very professional consultation and design. Dennis and his crew provided excellent workmanship! The project was done on time and on budget. Would recommend Almac for any landscaping needs!

We recently had Almac completely change our yard, and we couldn’t be happier! Originally our yard included a retaining wall, parking pad & concrete slab and was not very functional for our needs. Alan, George and crew transformed it to have a stone patio and pathway, perimeter garden and grass area as well as a new fence and improved stairs to our existing deck. Alan worked with us on the initial conceptual design and throughout the development of the project. One of the things we found most impressive was that they completed the entire project within one week of starting, ensuring we weren’t left without a yard during the summer season. Almac Landscapes Ltd - what more do we need to say! We met Allan @ the Fall Home Show and they were out to see us shortly thereafter. The consultation went well; the design was what we wanted and now that the project is completed . . . we would like to let everyone know about our wonderful experience with Allan, George, Dennis and the rest of their crew! The workmanship was excellent; the site was left clean & tidy every night and they even entertained our 2 little dogs throughout the day! We have a new deck, new arbor, new paving stone sidewalk and patio and we are looking forward to enjoying our New Backyard thanks to Almac. Great Job Guys!!

This is the third project that Almac has done for us and certainly the most extensive. Our existing deck was removed, the yard leveled and a new paving stone patio installed as well as a boardwalk along the side yard leading to the back. As usual this project was professionally and expertly done. The crew was friendly and efficient - a pleasure to have around. We have been enjoying our new backyard living space immensely.

We have had the second phase of our front yard landscaping completed by Almac. ,For the second time a thoroughly professional project. The Almac crew proved again to be friendly, courteous, prompt and diligent. Improvements to our planning thoughts were offered and proved to be correct, the work was completed in a timely manner, and any debris related to the work cleaned up. We are so pleased with the results that we have asked Alan for a proposal for phase 3.

We've hired Almac Landscapes twice to do landscaping work at our home. The first time was 10 years ago to build a retaining wall in our backyard. Well, that wall looks as good today as when it was built! The second time was in May 2014 to landscape our front yard. If you can believe it, the work was performed by the SAME CREW who worked on our retaining wall 10 years earlier!! In the landscaping business?! I'd say that would be almost unheard of. The crews showed up when promised, were polite, professional and reliable. We were pleased enough to hire them twice and would not hesitate to recommend them for any landscaping work.

Alan & his employees have just finished installing a drainage system on my front lawn as well as installation of brick surrounding flower beds. Slate was put on a front porch. Capping was installed on the top of a lower deck. I was extremely impressed with all the employees of Almac who worked on the job. Very polite, accommodating men. Alan himself was around to oversee the job & the work was done on time & on budget. I would strongly recommend this company.
