I am extremely satisfied with the work that has been done by Almac. A dedicated crew. Alan cares and works with me to make sure that the result is what we want. He gives us an estimate and sticks to it. I would definitely recommend him.

We had two projects completed by Almac – a parking pad and a retaining wall. By our request the work was completed over two summers. Each project only took a few days to complete and was handled professionally and efficiently. The projects were well organized, consideration was given to our neighbor’s property, and the site was kept tidy. Alan is very personable and was easy to work with. We are pleased with the final outcome.

Alan did an excellent job of providing options to replace a front garden and planter full of old shrubs. We settled on a new patio and raised planter, the addition of slate on the steps, along with the replacement of a problematic side fence and gate. George and the crew were on time, professional and provided suggestions for and completed enhancements at no additional cost. The workmanship including clean up was excellent, as was the quality. All of the Almac staff were a pleasure to deal with and we would certainly recommend them highly.

Almac helped us completely remodel our backyard. We installed a new patio, added slate to our back step, new sod, the works. As a result of my past experience with other landscapers I was shock when our project started on schedule and was complete in the same week. I have already recommended them to a colleague.

I received great service. They were very punctual, and everyone was friendly and hardworking. Great teamwork. Cleaned up behind them each night. Almac designed and built a beautiful back yard for us. A parking area was turned into a quiet low maintenance hideaway with paving stones, planters, and stone. Quality work. A great crew!

We required extensive work to deal with drainage issues and to make our backyard into a usable space. Our yard was tired-looking and generally sloped toward the house; the driveway had begun to subside in areas, creating ice issues. Al answered the phone himself, made the appointment for a consultation and showed when he said he would. We had extensive planning sessions and Al contributed ideas to solve our problems that we had not considered. When it came time to start the work, his team showed up on time and they worked until the task was through. We made some changes during the construction phase, as you do when the project begins to take shape. No problems. His team is courteous, friendly and trustworthy. It was the same team every day and they worked until the job was done. There were no days where I was left wondering if the contractor was going to show up. They were here everyday, until the project was complete. Al checked up regularly during the project and has followed up with us twice since it was completed. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work and the final product is better than we had hoped. We have used our backyard at just about every opportunity since it was finished. I would (and have) recommended Almac to our friends (that is how we learned about them). This was a very positive experience for us and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Looked for an experienced and trustworthy landscaper to rejuvenate our front and side yards and were fortunate to engage Alan and the Almac team to design and construct the project. The work included refurbishing the front steps with slate, replacing an old paver stone walkway with a re-graded and professionally installed paving stone patio/walk way, creating a new side yard walkway which included building a sturdy fence to retain the walk, laying paver stones and placing washed rock to fulfill the low maintenance goal. The result is a much improved and visually appealing entrance to our home and a now usable access to the backyard. The team, under George’s guidance, knew exactly what needed to be done every day, worked extremely efficiently and completed the project in less than a week. Dennis’ slate work on the steps has created a new and attractive look. Alan’s cost estimate and our expectation were both successfully met.
