We had an old deck in the backyard, with a stone walkway to a firepit. We wanted to redo the deck and add a patio off the deck. We did the deck ourselves but contacted Almac for the patio, they had some great ideas and did a remarkable job matching the patio and the existing walkway. You cannot tell one from the other. Great work and easy to work with. Thanks!

Met with Al several times prior to the start of the work. Always polite, able to suggest ways to keep costs down. The crew were Great! Always on time and work completed as scheduled. We are very pleased, and have received many compliments.

After struggling with getting quotes and then having no one follow through with doing the work I contacted Almac Landscapes after a friend referred them to me. Alan answered the phone the first time I called, took my information and was over to my house within days to sit down with me and start the planning. He took plenty of time with me to make sure that we were both satisfied.... and satisfied I was. The guys showed up and worked like little ants transforming the front of my yard. I love it. They are coming back spring of 2014 to do the backyard and I can hardly wait to see what magic they work there. The group of guys at Almac are very friendly and polite. As a single women they went above and beyond to help me out on little things that others wouldn't have even have thought of doing. I can't thank Alan and his crew enough and am looking forward to working with them again.

I have used Almac twice now. This last project was a front yard project. Almac is very professional, fast and easy to work with. Almac's team works so well as a team - they more like a family than workers. Al, George, Dennis, Adam and several others were very professional, no bad language and had a great work atmosphere. They were willing and able to incorporate two buffalo statues in the project. These buffalos became just as important to them as they were to me. When the job was done, the front lawn was left pristine and I did not have any garbage to get rid of. I would highly recommend Almac to anyone who needs a landscaping project done - large or small. Give them your ideas or ask them for theirs suggestions and help!! They were great!!!

Almac was recommended by neighbours, we had met Alan at the Horticultural Show, and liked what we had seen and were told. After having Phase 1 of a possible 3 stage project completed we are very pleased with the project to date. The crew members were great, courteous, prompt, hard working, and very professional. The results are better than we expected and we are fussy. We have had many compliments from family, friends, neighbours, and, since the project is in our front yard, people just passing by. We are so happy with Phase 1 we are currently working with Alan on Phase 2 for 2014.

Dealing with Almac Landscapes Ltd was a real pleasure from the initial consultation through to completion! The crew was incredibly clean and courteous. My deck and patio are better than I could have imagined.

Our existing deck was a poor use of space and poorly built, so we called Alan to do a complete redesign. He had a lot of good suggestions and made several visits to ensure we were aligned on the project. We needed a child friendly space and he worked with us to make sure those needs were met. The design blueprint was a great tool to help us visualize the new space. George and crew were professional and extremely skillful. The old deck was completely demo'ed the first day and two new decks and a stone patio were installed in the next 4 days. A change was required to the initial design after the demo, but Alan walked us through it and had a great suggestion to address it and ensured there was no impact to the project schedule. The entire project was completed with minimal disruption to our lives, it was all cleaned up and the new construction is solid and very well done. Our yard is much more liveable and the kids love all the extra space they have! We'll be using Almac again for any new landscaping projects (our front yard may be next!), and I have recommended them to friends and family.

Kudos to Alan, George and crew on a professional job. My ugly steps and sloping lawn were transformed to gentle sloping steps and pathways matched with beautiful walls with rock gardens and planters. Compliments from neighbours on a great new look and also the hard working crew. Alan kept in touch throughout and has been in touch since completion to make sure I am still happy with the transformation. The crew were hardworking and skilled and obviously took pride in a job well done. I would highly recommend Almac.

Almac completed a landscape design for my residence. The front of the property was done this spring..cedar fence, slate front step and landscape of lawn, flower beds, etc. It is a big job; will be done in phases. The crew were professional, friendly, courteous. They cleaned up site everyday. Alan is very knowledgeable and accommodating.. Great work guys. See you next year!

We live in an older area and had some overgrown spruce trees that were far too big for the space. We had these removed last fall then had Almac come in and do a compete revamp of our front yard. Alan was great from the start - gave us lots of ideas and was mindful of our budget and our plans to do more landscaping in the backyard in the future. His plans were clear and in phases that we can manage over time. From start to finish, Alan's team was organized, hard working, clean & tidy, and they did a great job - really high quality work. Almac regraded the yard, laid new sod, did a fantastic job with the stone path and flower beds. Our favourite part is the beautiful new cedar fence, giving us a lot more privacy and space in our backyard. Our yard has gone from drab and tired to by far the nicest on the block! Looking forward to having Alan and his team back over the next few summers to get the backyard to the same standard.
