    Replaced 18 windows in a 85 year old stone house.

    I ordered 18 LePage windows from Nelson at Dundas Wood Windows in late January. He responded immediately, came to the house twice to accommodate changes I wanted made. The order was place and within 6 weeks they arrived in Toronto. Last week, they arrived at the house at 8:30 and all 18 windows were installed by 5:00 pm the same day. They returned the following day to complete some framing that was needed inside and all of the capping outside was completed. On both days the house was left as they found it. They were constantly cleaning up as they worked. I want to thank Antonio for his unbelievable work. He was cheerful, fast, and accurate. I would have no problem what-so-ever recommending Dundas Windows, Nelson and his team. If you want a quality job, with no worries don't hesitate to hire them.

    Small commercial building downtown Toronto

    Nelson was very prompt and had good ideas for our installation The installers and brickwork done was excellent . They were not the cheapest but I think you get what you pay for in this industry. The quality of the windows were great Steve downtown Toronto

    WIP

    A work in progress. Quality product, but a few unfortunate hiccups with the job, in particular with an installation crew that is no longer with the company. Dundas is working diligently to address the issue.

    Window installation.

    The service was great. Arrived punctually and installed all windows quickly with attention to detail. A very clean and precise install with friendly service. Very happy with the work that was completed and i would definitely recommend this company.

    Window replacement

    After two installation appointments that didn't happen due to illness of the installer, Nelson suggested I buy the windows and get my own installers. This I did recently and they do not fit. The contract (signed in May, 2009) states that they measure 32"by 54" but, in reality, they measure 30" by 55.5". He refuses to take them back and give me a refund leaving me no recourse but to put them in the basement and go to Small Claims Court.

    Large traditional style double hung window (Anderson) with lites, retrofit with installation

    I was very impressed from start to finish with my experience with Dundas Wood Windows and Specialties. Starting with Anthony who came to do estimates and explained the products and options, providing several estimates to choose from. The showroom and office staff were always very helpful and pleasant and very accommodating with schedules. Antonio and his coworker did a great job with the installation- fast and very neat. As I requested, he did a nice profile on the exterior aluminum capping/surround, so it looked very custom and finished. Antonio took pride in his work and stated that he installed every window as if he were doing the job on his own home- importantly, I believe he did. Everyone seems proud of and dedicated to providing a high level of service and intent on pleasing and delivering a high level of product at a very competitive price. I will be using them again when I change my other windows.

    Window Replacement

    Did lots of research before I replaced my 54-year old windows and storms - all 11 of them. I had quotes from four companies, and two of them could not give me double hung. Of the remaining two Dundas was slightly more expensive but they came highly recommended. Antonio did a superb job and the curb appeal of the house has increased significantly. I ordered Ostaco windows, with some grille work and a custom made fixed dining room window with various glass styles. Just beautiful. Hope they last another 50 years.

    Doors

    This was our second time using Dundas Wood Windows & Specialties. The installation of two new doors went as planned and met all of our expectations. The finishing detail was excellent and we are very happy that were able to re-install the 100 year old stain glass window at the front door.

    Window and door replacement

    Front doors/back sliders

    Nelson was fantastic to deal with. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us through the selection process in arriving at the best options for us. His Installation crew were polite and completed their work on time. Would highly recommend them!
