    Terrible CARINE Couch and Un-Educated Customer Service

    EDIT--- I posted the following review on Structube's website for the CARINE couch, but you likely won't see it. The reviews on Structube's site are very misleading. They have to "approve" reviews, thus why there are only good reviews on their website. --------- Terrible experience with Structube. If you are thinking about ordering from them for the first time...DO NOT. Save yourself and spend your hard-earned dollars elsewhere. I ordered the CARINE couch along with the NORAH coffee table. The site says that shipping may take 2-6 weeks, which is understandable. I called customer support after 2 weeks and not receiving any tracking number, notification or email that my order had been shipped. Customer Support then went on to tell me my order will not ship for a few months because the coffee table is back ordered, and the whole order won't ship until it is all in stock. When I placed the order it said that NORAH was in stock, so I was very upset to find this out. I then had Customer Support refund the NORAH so my couch would be shipped. I then had to wait another 4 weeks for my couch to finally come and was extremely disappointed. Overall the quality of the couch is pretty poor, but then again it does come from China. The fabric is okay, but not super comfortable. The packaging was very minimal but seemed to be undamaged. Upon unwrapping, the couch already had a few snags in the fabric. I then unwrapped the legs which are packaged separately, only to find that the middle support leg was bent. It wasn't bent from shipping, but the threaded bolt was welded on about 10 degrees off 90. Meanwhile, I noticed the instructions show to screw the side legs into the hole. There were no predrilled holes or extruded inserts to be found. I called Customer Support Once again to troubleshoot and they were nice, but not very helpful. They told me they couldn't do anything until I sent images proving the center leg was bent, and that there were no holes pre-drilled where the legs are supposed to be attached. The Customer Support sent me an email right away, which I then replied with the pictures and details almost immediately. 4 Days later and I still had not received an answer from customer support so I decided to give them another call. This time I received a 3rd Customer Support Agent. He started off by looking at the photos I sent, and at first acted like there was nothing wrong with the support leg. After talking him through it he said he could send a new one out to me. I then tried to resolve the problem of there being no holes to screw in the main legs of the couch. He put me on hold for 12 minutes and then proceeded to tell me that I'm supposed to use a screwdriver to drive the wood screws into no only the wood support frame, but the fabric on top of that. There are multiple problems with this scenario. 1. You should never screw a wood screw into wood without a pre-drilled hole. If the wood splits you are SOL. 2. You really shouldn't be screwing a wood screw into fabric first. It's going to twist the fabric causing issues further down the road. 3. Ideally, furniture like a couch should have extruded inserts for all legs. What I find weird is that the middle support leg as an extruded insert, but the main legs do not. Extruded inserts allow you to take off the legs (when moving) and put them back on without the holes getting lose from the wood screws. Now... it's been a few days since I talked to Customer Support about getting a center support leg shipped and I still haven't heard back from them if they shipped one (like I was told). It would be nice to get one that's actually straight, but for now, I'll just have to wait.

    Defective sofa bed and couldn't-care-less customer service

    Structube sent me a defective sofa bed that won't close. Customer service told me to send a video showing efforts to close it (When I first called, the guy said he would call back within 30 minutes as the complaints department was closed at that time. Several hours later, having not heard back, I called again. He claimed to have tried to call, but failed to reach me because he likely had the wrong number, which I knew wasn't true as they had my number on file and had called me to deliver the sofabed). He asked me to send a video of attempts to close the bed, which I did. It was over a long weekend so he said they would only get back to me on the Tuesday but would mark it urgent. No word on Tuesday. I sent another email, got no response, then tried calling. The customer service agent was dismissive and unhelpful. I've still gotten nowhere with them. Their strategy seems to send defective/damaged products, then ignore complaints so they can keep the money paid, and their customer service people give you the run around. I'm filing a complaint with Ontario Consumer Services. Save yourself the hassle and stay away from this company.

    New sectional

    My boyfriend and I purchased the Liam sectional. It's great! We wanted something small, affordable, and dog friendly for our condo. We had looked at a few other places, but found this was the most comfortable for the price. Only negative was that the shipping was delayed, however that would be the trucking companies fault. Overall great service with our sales man!

    Need new furnitures for our new living room. Structube's gamme of products was amazing! We got to choose various sofas and tables which have s stunning design and quality .

    Worst customer service - not worth it

    I moved to the U.S. from Ottawa in August. I chose to order online from Structube to have my furniture delivered to my new place. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. Inefficiency and incompetence led to my furniture being shipped out 3 weeks later than it should have been (everything was in stock but the team continued to make mistakes in submitting my order properly), and even worse, the staff wrote me an email confirming my goods were being shipped on a specific date - only to then receive paperwork once I finally received my furniture which proved it was actually shipped a week later. When I complained about the furniture not being shipped on time the only solution I was given was to "cancel my order and forfeit the delivery fee" (despite it not even being shipped yet). Throughout this whole experience I took every step necessary to ensure my furniture would be shipped on time - my first call was a few hours after the order was submitted & I called until I had my confirmation by email (which was untrue as stated above). This is an unprofessional company with poor customer service. I dealt with at least 5 different staff members on numerous occasions (all of which had conflicting information), was promised multiple call-backs from managers which I never received & even wrote an email highlighting this poor customer service without any response. Last, but not least, my furniture arrived damaged and I am now filing a claim.

    Kitchen Chairs and Office Desk

    I absolutely love the items I got they are well made and beautiful Ive never seen anything like them!! Customer service was great and a special shot out to Katrina who went above and beyond for me. The only reason I deduct a point it cause they gave part of my desk to a different customer. They did find it in a couple days and got it to me.

    Product

    I went into the Calgary store to look at a particular end table (Olga) there are two finishes available but I could only see one on display - the two people working that day went through the back to find the Olga table with the other finish and it took some time - they didn't give up! I ordered two and later went home and decided i wanted the other finish - they kept the original two on order as well as ordered two in the other finish so I could see both again when they came in to make up my mind. They were fantastic to deal with.

    Family Room furnishing

    I had never heard of Structube. Now that I have, I will definitely shop there again. Great selection and prices. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Unique pieces. I'm a fan!

    Product

    My boyfriend and I bought the Tupelo dining table, Evo Coffee Table and Sandy Dining chairs in steel blue. Though the delivery takes a while when items are out of stock but the prices and the quality are great! We love to build the furniture together and so far they have been quite simple to build - though you will need to buy/borrow tools if you don't have any already. Definitely will be purchasing more items from here.

    Kitchen Bar Stools

    We were very happy with the service we received in the store. When our order was received we were very delighted with our product. One stool had to be exchanged as it was bent, when we received it, but the exchanged was taken care of smoothly and without a problem.
