All of the 10/10 reviews here are a testament to how great the HIP are; if I could give them an 11/10, I would. From start to finish, the entire team was fantastic to deal with in turning our unfinished basement into a beautiful and inviting space. Phillip, our estimator, took us through all of the options available to us at the outset, and quickly understood what we were looking for and translated it into a clear quote that was competitive with several others we had obtained. Our project manager Elia gave us a firm start date, and the work actually got underway a few days ahead of schedule. Christian and Carlos were absolutely outstanding. They clearly explained the process every step of the way, answered our many questions whenever they came up, and talked us through a few options and gave great advice (in a couple of cases, suggesting ideas we never would have thought of, and ended up doing). They did excellent work themselves, and kept us informed of when to expect the various trades, each of whom were equally friendly and professional. The job was completed within the scheduled timeline of eight weeks, and there was someone working on our project for pretty much every weekday of that period (and even on a couple weekends). The end result exceeded our expectations; the pictures don’t do it justice. We were hoping for a look and feel that would match the rest of the house (we didn’t want a stark, “rec room” vibe), and our finished basement may have become our new favorite part of the house.
