The Home Improvement People alleviate any fear and anxiety about embarking on a major renovation. Charlotte, our designer, provided wonderful advice for the selection of flooring, cabinets, counters, fixtures, hardware and lighting. Caio, our contractor, ensured the timely coordination of all the trades that were involved. Everyone with whom we dealt were professional, courteous, kind and demonstrated skilled workmanship and pride in their work. The most comforting aspect of working with the wonderful staff of this company is that they stay in constant communication with their clients. Many thanks for all your hard work to ensure that we have a beautiful kitchen. Warmest wishes in 2017!

Hired the HIP based on referral from good friends and was not disappointed. The crew showed up on the agreed date and worked from 8am - 5pm. Every evening, the corridor from our front door, up the stairs to the bathroom was cleaned up and vacuumed to the point that a guest walking in our front door would be unaware a renovation was in progress. We have a dog in the house and they were extremely careful to close the door every single time they came in or out. Complete reno from start to finish took 8 days. Dennis and Neil were polite, warm, helpful and very knowledgable. Haydee, Elia and Gerhardt were always available by phone or email when we needed to reach them whether it was regarding materials, financial or general questions. Our new bathroom is absolutely gorgeous and we would not hesitate to recommend the HIP to friends, neighbours and colleagues. Without a doubt, these guys are professionals through and through.

We live in Old Toronto and wanted to add a powder room upstairs for my son. Its not a simple job and we knew it would be messy as the stack was on the other side of the job. We had as few estimates and everybody almost seemed scared of the job. Gerhard and Elia came by and with confidence told us what needed to be done and how long it would take. They were accurate on both. The bathroom is such a welcome adoption to our bedroom level and the guys who did it were just great at what they do. They were great guys too. So thanks everybody from everybody in our family.

Very satisfied with Elia, Larry and the team. They always came when they said they would. They were always polite and accommodating. When unexpected problems arose they provided options and advice. The overall quality of the work is high. They want the job finished right not just finished. In sum, I would not hesitate to use them again.

I had my 70 year old bathroom renovated. Jerry from home improvement people was amazing. He took great care to make sure each step of the project was done well. He offered us advice that helped bring our bathroom to a great vs just average level. You can tell that he takes great pride in his work as he completed each task to perfection. The work was completed on time and we are extremely satisfied. Thank you!

Caio and his crew just completed work on our kitchen and family room renovation. It involved removing a wall between the two rooms, reinforcing the bearing wall, removing and installing new floors, painting, electrical, and other work. The bottom line is, we couldn't be more pleased with the results. They did a first class job, with first class people. Without exception everyone was polite, efficient, highly skilled, and a pleasure to have around. Every stage was completed on time with virtually no down time. Even the dumpster that sat on our driveway for 6 weeks was several steps above the usual rusty eyesore. We will definitely use them again as we contemplate a bathroom and walk-in closet upgrade.

A neighbour recommended Ciao (contractor within the Home Improvement People) for our extensive bathroom reno. I am so glad we took his recommendation. Ciao and his team worked very hard to finish our reno on time (9 days!) and on budget. They stayed well into the evening several nights and physically worked hard each day to make this happen. They made the whole process very easy for us and the results are beautiful. Nicely finished and clearly done with skill. I have utter confidence that everything was done very well which gives me great peace of mind. The team was considerate and I felt very comfortable having them in my home. This was not the cheapest quote we got, but for the quality of the work, I feel like we got the best deal possible. I really feel like you couldn't go wrong booking with Ciao and The Home Improvement People.

We put our faith into The Home Improvement People to undertake a large renovation project so that it could be completed before my daughter's wedding. They were not chosen on price, but on the promise that they would deliver quality work and on time. They did not disappoint. The main floor, kitchen and bathrooms all look beautiful, the work completed on time without compromising workmanship...thank you Larry. I am especially pleased with the tile work; Gabe and his team did an amazing job and I receive continuing compliments on the quality of their workmanship.

This was our 2nd reno with the Home Improvement People, the first being the main bathroom. We couldn't be happier with the outcome! Through every stage, everyone took the time to make quality, job one. They say you get what you pay for. But with The Home Improvement People, you get more then you pay for.

We live in a 120 year old house and so the issue is always 'what is behind the walls?' Ben wrote up our contract with the proviso that unexpected wiring or plumbing issues could result in higher cost. Fair enough, but the challenge is what is 'unexpected' in an old house? Well the HIP team did a fantastic job and, while we did come across some real and some questionable 'unexpected' issues, we were able to negotiate resolution in a fair way. We are absolutely delighted with the result and the crew was really great in keeping us involved in on-the-spot decisions. Work was completed quickly and, with the depth of the HIP Team, we were never left waiting for someone to show up. Great job!
