Haydee and Ben: Please thank Mein, Billy and crew for the great job on updating our 2 bathrooms. I has been 2 months now and when people are visiting we are getting good comments. This was our first attempt at any renovations and it was a good experience for us. Any issues that did come up, as with any older house, were quickly and resolved to our satisfaction, even on the weekend. We do not hesitate in recommending the Home Improvement People to our family and friends.

We have used the HIP previously for two bathroom reno's and had no hesitation contracting them for our basement, The workmanship was excellent, The project finished on time and on budget as quoted, Eli and his team could not do enough to to address our needs and alleviate any concerns one experiences through an major renovation like ours. I would highly recommend the HIP to all my friends and will use them again at our cottage in the future.

We chose HIP for our bathroom renovation primarily because they were able to squeeze us in before Christmas, which I really appreciated. Also, Dan’s quote was competitive, if a bit vague (in contrast to the other more detailed quotes that we obtained. I was a bit concerned that everything would be included in the HIP price, but I needn’t have worried - the final bill was exactly as quoted). Mien and his crew were great - diligent, meticulous and helpful. They dealt with the quirks and crooked walls/floors of our 100-year-old house and managed to create a beautiful, modern, functional bathroom in a space that had obviously been badly renovated in the past. We are very happy with the end result. One small quibble: as my husband and I both work full-time we would have preferred that the crew started earlier in the morning (before 8:30 am) but this is a minor issue/personal preference. I will certainly recommend HIP to my friends and relatives. (Edit - Added another star to this review for stellar after sales service by Mien - June 2015)

Just wanted to drop a note about Tim and his bathroom crew. The work is meticulous. I felt safe and secure having Tim and his team in my house. The HIP doesn't force you to buy their tiles or fixtures. In fact, they encourage us to buy whatever we want from wherever we want. We loved that. Others were trying to force us to buy their items that I'm sure they had nice profits and margins in. They say you get what you pay for and not only are we thrilled with the result but we didn't even pay more then others were quoting. Thank you HIP! We love it.

Right from the start we had good vibes about the company. Ben was informative and thorough regarding our wish list. The trades were a delight - courteous and prompt. Although we had a short timeline for our reno, HIP met it. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Both bathrooms turned out great! Company was on time and there were no financial surprises. The workers cleaned up every night! Very professional. Maybe not the cheapest, but about as stress-free as a renovation could be.

Hi Dan, Well the guys just left and everything you said was accurate. The job started when promised and finished early. The communication by you and your team throughout was fabulous and the finished product is sensational. I am going to attach a pic of the bar later so the world should know just how happy I will be every single night. Looking forward to our bathroom reno in the spring.

I've just use the H.I.P for my 4th project in the last 18 months and its still a pleasure working with them. The price is always competitive for work that is far better than what I have had done by others before I starting using them. Thx again Ben & Dan.
