After much research, I finally settled on purchasing Vinyltek PVC replacement windows through LongLife. The mechanical and thermal design struck me as being noticeably more robust than comparable products being offered by large scale window manufacturers. I decided to purchase Cypress series windows, with solid douglas fir interior trim, for the prominent locations in my house. I sincerely appreciate the quality of the work performed by Bernard and his crew. Bernard was particularly meticulous in seeing through the installation of the Cypress series windows.

We obtained a number of quotes on Vinyltek windows from a few installers, but Kris at LongLife was the best to deal with, most informative, and quite obviously a professional. Their quote was very competitive and their installation high-quality. They were quick to respond to the many queries we had an worked with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Bernard and his installation crew were proficient, efficient, and a pleasure to have around (very nice guys). They did an immaculate clean-up and finished our job (13 windows and 1 french patio door) in 2 days. The new windows are beautiful and so much warmer than our leaky vinyl windows we replaced. The only hang-up was a delay on the patio door at Vinyltek, so that the installation crew had to return on a different day to install our door - not a big problem. A few minor issues after installation (defects) will be dealt with by the service department with no issues. The lifetime warranty, quality installation, and friendly, honest service made our experience with LongLife a great one. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new windows and doors.

We were in the market for new windows as our old aluminum frame double glazed windows (23 years old) were getting lots of condensation, especially in the winter time. A friend of ours is having a new house built and highly recommended Vinyltek windows. Vinyltek has a dealer network that handles the replacement window side of their business (not new construction) which is how we got connected with Long Life Windows & Doors. Peter was our sales person. He was very knowledgeable and very patient with all the questions we had (which were lots). Peter always got back to us right away whenever we emailed or phoned him and he gave us lots of good suggestions on styles of windows for our house. We trusted Peter from the start. With the installation, we couldn't have been more pleased with how smoothly it went. We ended up with Bernard and his crew (which included his son) and we could tell right away that they knew what they were doing. They were very neat and Bernard was always willing to answer any questions we had as well. Bernard and team installed 24 windows and 1 patio door in total and it took them just under 3 days to complete the project. The only small glitches were one of the windows that was in an ensuite over our tub was not the right glass that we asked for.(Vinyltek's error, not Long Life) Also 2 or 3 of the night locks on the windows were stuck. Peter was on it right away and contacted Vinyltek directly to make sure these items were corrected immediately through warranty service. The items were fixed quickly and efficiently by the Vinyltek service rep. With the glass itself, we ordered the new LowE cubed glass which blocks out 95% of the UV rays. We also had the Neat coating on it that is a type of self cleaning coating. We highly recommend both as you can tell there is less heat coming through the windows so the house should be a lot cooler in the summer. There is a slight tint to the windows though with this new Low E cubed glass but you get used to it quickly to the point you don't notice it. Also, no condensation on our windows and frames anymore with these new vinyl frames. All in all, you pay more for these windows but we highly recommend Long Life Windows and Doors and vinytek windows because of the service and quality.

After seeing the excellent job Long Life Windows & Doors did for my son & daughter-in-law, I decided to "bite the bullet" and finally have my old aluminum windows replaced as well as my old wooden front door. The whole experience was very positive, right from the great presentation by the sales representative to the actual installation by the professional, hard-working, friendly crew! I felt the price was reasonable and the life-time transferable warranty was a real selling feature to me. I was also very impressed with the donation made on my behalf by Long Life Windows & Doors to a lower mainland charity. What a great way to give back to the community! We have total 45 windows/patio doors installed during the tough weather. Rick, Preston and the crew did an excellent job. They take time to make sure the windows/patio doors installed right. We had 10 double glazed windows and new hardyback siding installed by Randy and Corey. We are very pleased with the quality of the product and the workmanship. They were punctual, patient and real troopers, working through heavy rain and cold days. The house has had an amazing facelift and we couldn't be happier. The true test of any Company is: 1) longevity and 2) commitment to the product and service they provide. Long Life Windows and Doors replaced our single pane windows back in 1997-98. We were pleased with the product and installation. However, shortly afterwards two of the windows began to give us problems. The manufacturer tried to correct the problem on several occasions by installing, alterating or adjusting the windows without much success. Over time, we just lived with the end result. In 2011, we decided to replace the two problematic windows. Since the windows were covered by a lifetime warrenty, I decided to contact Pat at Long Life to discuss our options. Pat was truely taken back by our situation and very receptive to correcting the problem. After a few conversations, we reached mutual agreement on replacement windows. No bickering, no hassling, no deflecting the problem (even though I procrastinated so long). Shortly afterwards, Bernard and his crew arrived to install the "new" windows. It's been over a year since the installation and we are very pleased with the final outcome --- the windows, the installation, the service and more importantly, Long Life's willingness to correct and make things RIGHT, 12-13 years after the fact. From the very beginning Paul made an excellent presentation of the product and service. The installation crew was on time, they installed as promised, everything was cleaned up and there was a follow up to make sure that everything was done as agreed.
