    Toronto Hydro turned off our power because our metre was fried

    Yet again were we saved and connected by the ever able, ever competent team at Captain Electric. They listen, advise, and act with alacrity, courtesy and skill. They followed up to be certain that we were safe and satisfied. What more indeed can one expect from the best?

    Electric Panel & Baseboard Heater Replacement

    Captain Electric was wonderful to work with for our needed upgrades. Once we contacted them to see if they could do the work we required, they were very prompt in arranging a consultation in which the representatives were very pleasant and knowledgeable. They were able to make the needed arrangements (hydro, full crew and a full day) in a timely manner so that we had a minimum of disruption in our household. The crew were polite and pleasant when working and made sure that all was cleaned up when they were done. All in all, we would definitely recommend Captain Electric to anyone looking to have work done. Thank you.

    electrical upgrades

    I had Captain Electric to my home yesterday for various upgrades including replacing a bathroom fan and installing surge protection on my electrical panel. Ceiling lights were also replaced and a smoke detector was installed. I couldn't be more happy with the expert way the work was completed by Ryan. Ryan made a comprehensive thorough outline of what the work would cost and every item was broken down and explained. This is the 4th time I have had work done in my home by Captain Electric and they just keep getting better. Their office receptionist Diane will call and let you know when they will come within a 15 minute window which is very much appreciated. Ryan called kevin to come and help finish all the jobs and their skilled workmanship makes Capt Electric my number one place to always have my electrical work done. One thing that I always am grateful for is how immaculate they leave your home after work is completed. Courteous, professional, skilled electricians who stand behind their work 100%.

    Circuit Panel to replace Old Fuse Panel

    Dianne in the office is a pleasure to work with, quick to answer emails and phone messages. Dan and both of his apprentices are friendly, professional, and courteous. I have used Captain Electric for a couple small jobs in the past because we are on aluminum wiring. This job was a complete replacement of an old fuse box to a new circuit breaker. Everything was handled efficiently - including getting the permits from the city, and having the ESA sign off on the work. I received a copy of my ESA certificate within 2 business days. A reputable company with outstanding employees that I will use again, and continue to recommend.

    New Electrical Panel, New Light Fixture, Fix Problems

    Exceptional service. Quality work. Best workers I've ever had in my home. Thorough, fast, clean, respectful, responsive, problem solvers, attention to detail. Five people arrived. All courteous, clean-cut, no cell phone interruptions, no swearing, no idle chatter, each introduced themselves, loved my dogs, explained work as they did it. Were happy to allow me to pay in two instalments. Applied seniors discount. Will have them back for other work next year. If all companies had this kind of service it would be amazing.

    Repair connection, install light fixture, discovery and repair of hot and unsafe dimmer switch.

    I found this company online, called and spoke with Diane. She kindly moved things around to accommodate me as I was going on holidays. Zack arrived at my door the next day. He is a true professional who represents his company well. Before we got started Zack told me about the company, his qualifications and what he planned on doing. While addressing my concerns, he then discovered a safety problem and corrected that. I was so impressed with Zack and the service that I will gladly refer him and Captain Electric to my real estate clients. Thank you Diane and Zack.

    Service

    We were so pleased with the service we received from Captain Electric. Our house had aluminum wiring and was not up to code. Captain Electric came and rewired our house and make is safe. Now we can go to sleep at night without having to worry about our house burning down. The team was professional, courteous and friendly. We are really please and would not hesitate to recommend them.

    Electrical issue repair

    A light and outlet in our kitchen lost power all of a sudden. After trying to call around for an electrician, I chose Captain Electric for their responsiveness, courteous manner and clear expectation setting. An appointment was made over the phone with Diane, and I received an advance call about 15 minutes prior to the arrival of the electricians, just as I was told. Kevin and Cody were on time and very polite and professional from start to finish. Kevin proactively showed their certifications and insurance documents. They were clear in explaining what they would be doing and, once they found the issue, they were again clear about the cost. They also identified a couple of other items for my awareness, with absolutely no pressure to proceed. In the end, I did agree to replacing the wired-in fire alarms sensors, as they were the original ones from when the home was built. Kevin and Cody were both efficient with time, tested everything and made sure I was satisfied throughout the process. I would recommend Captain Electric.

    Super Professional!

    We had a smoldering outlet which was a wake up call to have a contractor inspect the wiring. We researched electricians and based on reviews decided to call Captain Electric. The response time was very fast. Ryan and Cody reviewed the condition and made straight forward recommendations with several options. We decided to replace our old fuse panel and have an Aluminum wire rejuvenation done. The coordinated the date and showed up punctual and prepared. The work was completed efficiently with minimum inconvenience. They left our place spotless and we're friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company.

    Electrical panel and meter relocated

    We bought an older home, and realized the electrical system was outdated, we called Captain Electric and they came within a few days. No hidden costs the price was the price to the end. Kevin and his team were professional, answered questions, and on time. We would highly recommend this company for their expertise and knowledge.

When it comes to the things that are not seen (like electrical systems, plumbing systems and heating and cooling systems) we often find that they are not updated as often as they need to be.
