We had noticed our eavestroughs were leaning away from the house in a few spots and rain would sometimes overflow. We called Armstrong and Nelson after seeing their strong reviews on Homestars and were not disappointed. Sam arrived on a Saturday morning, assessed the problem, and said he could fix it immediately, including any other issues that he saw along the way for no extra cost. Sam installed brackets, which would secure the troughs better than the existing nails. He even came back again later when we noticed a couple of other minor gaps. Overall we were very satisfied.

We badly needed to have the eavestroughs for our backsplit cleaned.We called and were given an appointment the next day. Sam the technician came on time and did a wonderful job. Sam has a great personality and sense of humour and we would definitely ask for him again and actually we already have. He is coming when it is warmer to do some caulking on the roof.

I discovered Armstrong & Nelson online. I phoned and told them I wanted a leaf guard installed. That afternoon, an installer (Kyle) touched base, gave me quote, and set up an appointment. He came and did a lovely job . . . right down to dealing with a difficult neighbor. Nice work!

I received a very rapid response to my inquiry about eavestrough cleaning from Armstrong & Nelson. The work was scheduled for two days later. The phone staff and worker were both very professional and pleasant. The worker arrived on time, got to work and finished within the predicted time frame. Several bags of leafy debris were good evidence that the work had been done (since the roof is so high I can't inspect). They gave a great price and honored it despite the job being bigger than expected.

Overall job was exceptional, competitively priced and clean. I recommend Jacob whose passion, workmanship and pride are top notch. He and his crew were punctual, timely, and reliable. Scope of Work: replace faulty gutters, leaf guard, problematic downspouts, as well as fascia and soffits on house. Install new gutters, leaf guard, fascia, soffits, and metal flashing over gable ends, garage door casing, and over styrofoam insulation at base of garage. Several years the drainage system on the house was disconnected from the sewer system, by the previous homeowner's contractor. The work caused a significant number of problems, including rotting wood behind the troughs, icy walkways, and ice-buildup along the downspouts. Due to the number of tripping hazards that this contractor created, I was able to receive an exemption from the City's requirement to disconnect from the sewer system, for two of my downspouts. The crew carefully removed the old gutters and replaced rotted wood members and fascia boards. They kept the original wood for me to see and it was in terrible shape. New, re-routed gutters were installed, properly sloped to re-distribute the water drainage more evenly, and reduce the amount of water flowing into my backyard and onto patios and walkways, by about 75%. This was important to me as we had flooding in the backyard from the volume of water that was draining from the old, faulty system. My garage was a newly constructed structure that serves as my "dream workshop". Since I built it with assistance from some top quality trades, my expectations were high. The care in metal bending techniques was evident in both the functionality and aesthetics of the new finishes. Everything was completed to an exceptionally high standard. (My neighbour liked it so much that he decided to have his garage done by this crew.) I even noticed a bottle of windex onsite, which explains the immaculate look of the flat black, smooth surfaces! I have an eye for quality workmanship in this area, because my last aluminum contractor (now retired) did this type of custom work on my last workshop and house. I've met a few contractors who were not convincing on the custom bending parts of this job. Jacob is truly a master and I feel fortunate that he was able to complete this job, provide smart recommendations, and exceed my high standards. There are a lot of "hacks" in this field. Armstrong & Nelson and especially Jacob and his crew, are professional, courteous, and clean. Above all, their quality workmanship is well worth it!

Sam came and replaced the downsprout. Looks like its well done, bring on the rain and lets see. Property was left clean and tidy after the work was done. I would use them again.

I specifically asked the technician(Sam) to call me when he got to my 90 year old fathers house to give me a quote, he didn't and went ahead and charged what seems to be an excessive price for 1.5 hours work, Randy was prompt to call me back indicating Sam thought this was a fair price but I'm not convinced and will use a different service in future

Thank you Ben. You returned my call in a timely fashion and showed up when you said you would. The work was done well with no foul language peppering the day's work. Thank you for answering all my questions. You take pride in your work and that is obvious. I will know more when it rains.

Luckily for me I saw their truck in my neighbourhood replacing eaves on another house. A contractor had left the job half done at my house and It was challenging to find anyone to come in and finish. Many eaves companies wanted to charge 75-100$ just for an estimate. I spoke with Daniel, he came right over, gave a quote to finish the job, and continued to follow-up until he could get it done. I am sure if I had any issues they would come back and fix it.
