Renew Stairs round two. This is the second time we had Moe come in as we used him in our previous house. Again we have nothing but praise for this company. Moe came in, measured up the broken stairs and wobbly railings left behind by the previous owners. We required a complete replacement of the staircase and all new railings throughout the house. The stairs were manufactured pretty quickly and installation began right after. Quinn was our installer in both job sites and again did an exceptional job. These stairs are the focal point as soon as you walk in the house and are complimented by everyone that comes in. We are very happy with both Moe and Quinn and have already recommended them to friends and other contractors that have done work for us. These gentlemen go above and beyond expectations and are an absolute pleasure to have working in our home. Timely, clean and professional. Thank you Moe and Quinn.

We replaced our carpeted stairs with hardwood and had proper nosing installed with Renew Stairs. The workers were friendly, professional, and completed the work quickly. After researching my options on homestars and having several contractors quote the job, we chose to go with Renew-stairs. Moe & Quinn were great. Moe came to our place for the quote and was competitively priced. He answered all of our questions and made a few suggestions as to what would work best with the difficult turn at the top of our stairs. Quinn did the removal and installation of the new railing. He did a great job and we are pleased with the end results. Both Moe and Quinn were pleasant, professional and both showed up on time (which is nice change to some of the contractors we have dealt with in the past). They both went above and beyond our expectations and the job at hand. We have received several compliments on the railing and it's only 4 days old. We would definitely use both Moe & Quinn again in any future jobs.

After interviewing several companies I hired Renew-Stairs to change the colour of my golden oak staircase and replace the wood pickets with metal. It wasn't the cheapest quote but I chose them because of their good reviews and the fact that there would be no sanding in the house. The treads and risers were capped, the stringers were re-veneered, and the railings were sanded out in the garage. A pleasant gentleman named Quyhn did the work by himself in about 5 days. Quyhn showed up on time each morning, cleaned up before he left at night, and his work was first class. I'm glad I hired Renew-Stairs and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends.

After interviewing several contractors that i sourced through Home Stars i hired Moe at Renew-Stairs for price and the positive reviews. The job was to remove the carpeting on my staircase and cap with hardwood/veneer. I also had the railings sanded and stained and new spindles and posts put in. Moe was very friendly guy....answered any and all questions or concerns and showed up when he said he would. The job took about 4 days. Apart from some accidental collateral damage that was done (which was taken care of) we are quite happy with the result although i think another protection coat on the stain would have been appropriate. That being said, I would recommend Renew to anyone.

Over the last year I have used professional contractors to renovate almost my entire house. I wish that all contractors had the character and customer service values that Moe and Renew Stairs have shown. Moe went the extra distance to make sure that I was satisfied. As part of the renovation I needed to recap my stairs and replace the railings and balusters. I requested quotes from 3 stair companies. Two were recommendations from friends. For the third I found Renew Stairs on HomeStars. Moe's quote was in the middle from a price perspective but even during the quotation phase I was impressed with his level of attention to my project and I had a sense that he was committed to customer satisfaction. I chose Renew Stairs. I was very particular about matching the stain to be used on the new oak railing and Newel posts to the stain of my new hardwood floor. I’m sure I took a fair bit longer and requested many more samples than your average customer but Moe never made me feel rushed. On top of that whenever I called he either answered the phone immediately or returned the call promptly – something that can be hard to find these days. The stairs are in and I am completely satisfied.

This past July, I hired Moe of Renew Stairs to Recap my stairs. Renew Stairs transformed a builder's carpeted Staircase in to a beautiful Staircase with wrought iron pickets. I have received many compliments from friends and neighbours. Moe was not the first, nor the last contractor that I called for an estimate. I decided to give the job to Moe because I found him to be the most professional, punctual and personable of all the contractors I dealt with. Moe was also willing to show me a job, in the area, he was working on and I was very impressed with the work. That sealed the deal for me. Lastly, the quality of the work is excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend Moe for Stairs Recapping.

We decided to replace our stair railing to increase the height to today's standards. After calling around for a few quotes we decided to go with Renew Stairs, which was in the middle. We liked that they specialized in stairs, saw examples of their work and Moe was able to answer all our questions. He came to see us various times to show us samples of the spindles and posts and stained wood to make sure that we were happy with the colour before starting. The work was all finished in 1 day and he promptly followed up to make sure we were happy with the end result, which we were.
