    New Chain Link Fence for backyard

    I am very pleased with the job that Mike and his son completed for us in fencing our backyard. His suggestion for a black chain link fence was spot on and it looks great! Mike also made and installed for us a very nice cedar gate for our front porch. My emails were promptly answered, the estimate was fair and the job came in within budget. They started the job when they had said they would and it was completed very quickly. All in all, very pleased with this company and wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services!

    Fence installation

    The estimate was not the best but I would say it's reasonable so we went for it... the crew came on time, did the work nice and on time, and they even cleaned up all the nails and pieces after the job is done... I also referred the company to my friends

    100 ft chain link backyard fence

    Best Fence recently installed a 100 ft chain link fence in our backyard. Mike was very prompt at returning phone calls. He came on the same day I called to give me a quote and then installed the fence all within one week. The prices they quoted were competitive with 2 other companies I contacted but what made Best Fence stand out was their customer service. Mike gave me different options and ideas. They always showed up on time and worked efficiently. He also ensured that any existing gaps where closed around the property so that our dog could not escape. We were very impressed by their workmanship and professionalism. I highly recommend them. They are one of the best companies we have dealt with when it comes to our home.

    Metal fence around front yard of house

    My wife and I were very happy with the service we received from Best Fence. We own a semi-detached house in downtown Toronto, and wanted a black metal fence to replace an old wooden fence. We chose an Iron Eagle fence after visiting the Iron Eagle showroom near Pearson Airport, and then we called Best Fence. Mike got back to us right away, and suggested we send him an email with photos of our property and a description of what we wanted. After a few email messages went back and forth, Mike came to our property to look around and take some measurements. Within a week, he had installed the fence posts. The fence sections took a month to be manufactured by Iron Eagle (we wanted a flat finish, which is less commonly ordered than the glossy), but as soon as they were ready, Mike contacted us and set up a date for the final instalation work. We love the way the fence looks, and would definitely recommend Best Fence to other homeowners. P&D

    40' Cedar Fence

    I had to replace a forty-foot fence that was falling down and wanted the new fence to stylistically match an existing cedar fence on the other side of my property. Mike had a good quote and was able to suggest a design that is casually indistinguishable from the other fence but would be significantly cheaper based on the materials. Mike's care was evident when constructing the fence as he properly flared the post bases, and took great pains to ensure exact alignment of all of the horizontal boards. All lines run perfectly level across the 40+ foot span! (picture: http://s14.postimage.org/ua99lmv9t/fence_cropped.jpg ). In short, the work was completed skillfully, quickly, and accurately - and all within the estimate Mike had provided. In addition, no plants in the garden were broken and the work area was properly cleaned up with all old parts discarded. In the end, I was left with a terrific fence that really adds to the beauty of my back yard (and property value!)!

    Fence Repair

    Mike and his crew got right to work on a ugly fence repair, and finished the job in great time. No excess materials or scrap were left behind, and the repair looked great. I want to let everyone know that to find a contractor who is very responsive to email and calls you back so quickly is a gem. Use these folks with confidence.

    Installing two gates

    Mike responded almost immediately to my estimate request. To me, this is very important and it shows that a contractor is serious about satisfying his customer. My pet peeve is a contractor who doesn't even find time to make a phone call. Anyway, I needed to install two wood gates on either side of my house and Mike and his partner came over and custom made the gates and installed them in less than a day. I was very impressed with the pace of work and the quality of the result. In total, the whole project took a week and a half after the initial consultation. BTW, did I mention that he was very polite?

    140 ft, chain link fence and gate

    I recently had the pleasure of contracting with Mike Ahmady of Best Fence to install 140 ft. of chain link fence and a gate at the side of my property. The letter I wrote to Mike at the end of the project is copied below and sums up the experience from start to finish. Dear Mike, Thank you for all the hard work that you and David did to install my new chain link fence. I know the site conditions weren’t ideal with all the roots and stones, but you did a solid, high quality job and it looks great. You did exactly what you promised, were on site exactly when you promised and were always available to answer any questions. You even noticed that the latch on my old wood gate wasn’t working properly and took the time to fix it. It’s this kind of service and attention to detail that makes you a true professional! I look forward to having you come back to do the fence at the rear of the property once the retaining wall is rebuilt (hopefully next spring). Best regards, Kris

    New Deck and Fence

    Best Fence was one of four companies I called to get a quote for the deck and fence in our backyard. Mike showed up the same day I called and brought over a series of images of previous work. We choose to go with Mike due to his competitive quote, previous homestars reviews, and impressive knowledge. Mike and his helper David showed up a day earlier, on my request, to start the work on our backyard. They were done the fence and deck in the estimated time. Along the way, Mike would confirm and seek my opinion on various aspects of the project. He also provided guidance, which helped me make my final decisions. He also had great suggestions for the rest of the landscaping of our backyard. We were extremely impressed with the workmanship and the general professionalism of the team. It's only been a few days since they finished the fence and deck and already we have gotten a number of compliments on the final product (thanks guys!). We would definitely recommend them to our friends and family and look forward to working with Mike when the time comes to update our front porch.

    Wood Fence Replacement

    I simply cannot recommend Best Fence enough! I had an old wooden fence that had two sections fall down over the winter. The remaining posts did not look too sturdy either. I contacted a few different companies, all of which seemed happy to quote on the job without ever looking at the project. All their quotes included 'extras' for certain difficult conditions...it made it very difficult to get a firm quote when nobody will come to see if your job is difficult! Mike was a completely different story. He came to see the job at the time he specified. He made his suggestions to save me some money and his quote was firm. The best part about dealing with Mike was that he would email me updates before and during the job. I never had to wonder what was going on. Mike and his coworker were great while on site. They kept the place tidy and worked efficiently. The quality of the work done is absolutely amazing. I couldn't be more pleased with the end result. I have another project coming up to add a fence and gate to keep my dog in the yard, I won't even bother asking anyone but Mike at Best Fence to do the job. That's the best compliment I can give!
