    Wooden privacy fence

    We've had two jobs done by best fence, both small, but there was still attentive and prompt service despite the small size. The workmanship was excellent. The service was prompt and very friendly. The price was lower than another quote.

    install pool fence, repair existing fence, replace side gate

    Mike was so professional! He was able to problem-solve for a fence repair that was abandoned by our previous contractor. Not only did Mike provide a solution, but the job was done in one day! He provided a detailed scope of work and was always aware of the aesthetic while still providing a cost-effective and practical solution. He was very knowledgable about code requirements relating to our pool fence and gates, making sure safety was first. We are so grateful to Mike for the work he has done for us. Professional, knowledgable, communicative, on-time, problem-solving, cost-conscious.....we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

    Backyard fence

    Mike and Best Fence did a great job removing our existing fence and installing a new one. The work was done within the time estimated and with minimal disruption to our yard. We are very happy with our new fence and would recommend Best Fence highly.

    Fence for Backyard

    Best Fence built my fence on time, on price and as contracted for, and the quality of workmanship is very high. Mike and his assistant were pleasant to deal with and hard working.

    Extension and repositioning of a fence

    I called Best Fence because 7 years ago they had done some work for me that I had been very happy with. Mike arrived the following day and I described to him what I wanted him to do. He made some great suggestions I hadn't thought of on how I could realize my goals and make the fence as attractive as possible. The work was done a few days later in only a day and a half and the price was very reasonable. I've had other contractors do work on my house, and I've often regretted what I had done because later I realized that what I wanted was not necessarily the best way to go about the job. They were the experts but they didn't suggest anything better! Mike is very good at pointing out what might not work in your conception and suggesting better ideas. You'll be happy with the planning and happy with the results!

    Removed old wood fence and gate and replaced with new pressure treated fence and gate.

    Mike was a consumate professional from start to finish. Very friendly and attentive, we liked him from the beginning. We needed our old wood fence and gate replaced. He came for the estimate with a full binder of photos of his previous work which helped us decide on a style. He also emailed us a few more photos of the style of fence/gate we liked. This really helped us out! We decided on a style from one of the photos he emailed us. Mike was excellent in answering all of our questions and came up with several great solutions to some issues we weren't quite sure of. Mike was right on in the amount of time he said the job would take. We had to work with the weather, as it was late November and the weather was very rainy. Even with the rain, Mike made sure to keep in contact with us regularly and would give us a heads up to expect him on the next rain free day. The fence/gate was done in a very timely and punctual manner and the clean-up was perfect. Best of all, the finished product looked amazing and worked great!! The workmanship was A+ and the materials used were of high quality. We were very happy with the price and the quality of work! We can honestly say that from many of the contractors we have worked with, he was the best. Working with him was pain-free! We've received many complements on our new fence/gate. We have more work that needs to be done in the near future. We will definitely call on Mike for these jobs and will highly recommend him to our family, friends and neighbours!!! Thanks Mike!!

    Wood fence replacement and iron fence repair

    Mike was very professional. He did the work on the timeline he specified at the beginning and at the price he indicated. He did a great job clearing out our old fence and replacing with a new, good quality pressure-treated one. He also did very well repairing our iron fence which had been mangled during our recent renovation.

    fence and gates

    We love our new cedar frame and black chain link panels fence. It is such a unique, cost-effective, and attractive design - we have had multiple compliments from neighbours and visitors. It was really important to get the fence finished before we moved into the house with our puppy, and Mike made sure it was complete, working around some of the worst rainy weather we've had all fall.

    DECORATIVE FENCE INSTALLATION

    Outstanding right from the estimate to the end of the job. Prompt and timely. Took great care to get the fence lines correct along our uneven ravine edge and were extremely careful around plants and shrubs. Thanks Mike for a superb job!!! I highly, highly recommend them.

    Privacy Fence and Gates

    Mike is amazing. The name "best fence" really says it all. He was very fair, courteous, promt and understanding. We are in the middle of a neighbour dispute and had to change our fence plans a few times on short notice. Mike went above and beyond the call of duty to accomodate these challenges, which was very much appreciated by our family. The fence is gorgeous and beautifully constructed. The price was fair and the service was exceptional. We will certainly be using Mike again in the future and recommending him to everyone we know!
