Ed was extremely helpful. Very knowledgable and professional. The job was done on time, and on budget. All work materials/areas were cleaned up promptly. All permits and ispections were proptly taken care of. Excellent work and a pleasure to deal with. If you need an electrician in the area, this is definately the guy. Thanks Ed!

John came and rerouted some wires and added 2 plug in for us. His work was excellent. He asked us what we wanted prior to beginning any alterations and he was prompt and courteous. Other people could learn from him regarding his service delivery. well done

Had some mixed up and exposed wires. He came out to investigate and fix it. He has a 1 1/2 hour minimum. He was here that long investigating installing new plug to gas fireplace for fan, and installed two bathroom timers. We supplied one timer and he supplied the other. He supplied the supplies for the plug to the fireplace as well.

We have an older home (1950's) and needed some plugs changed, fixtures updated and electrical outlets set up for a new bedroom in our basement. Throughout this small job Ed was very professional and helpful. He gave us some great suggestions to improve the functionality of the bedroom. He was very pleasant to deal with, reasonably priced and very accomodating with our hectic schedule. I would recommend Jans Electric without hesitation.

We bought a very old home that had multiple electric problems. Jans added new 3-way switches, outdoor plug, ceiling fan, hanging lamp, wall sockets and upgraded some breakers. They're work was quick and professional. We'll never need to find another electrician.

We had electrical work completed at our home last week. This included running new wiring, installing an indoor light fixture, inside receptacle and outdoor receptacle to our garden shed. They also installed of a new receptacle on our kitchen island, and repaired damage done by a handyman we had previously hired to put up a chandelier. Ed Jans and his assistant John were very professional, punctual, friendly and courteous. They were reasonably priced. They performed a quality job in a timely manner (half day to complete all work mentioned). We will definitely use them for any future electrical work at our home and highly recommend them. Ed Jan was referred to us. Three key things about the company: (1) They make promises and keep them (they'll give you a time, a price, they keep to the promise, and communicate exceptionally (2) Products are excellent. If you want products that complement the most important investment you have -- the home, Ed's products are exceptional at reasonable prices -- oh by the way, he uses products manufactured in CANADA!!!!! (3) Professionalism. They know how to perform their job, they do it efficiently, and the workmanship is absolutely exceptional. Honesty, friendliness, this company conducts business the way it SHOULD BE done. You will NOT BE disappointed.

We had Ed, along with his apprentice John (now fully licensed) run the wiring when we had our bsmt finished 2.5 years ago. He ran all of the electrical wiring and installed 15 potlights, 1 bathroom light, 14 electrical outlets including improving the laundry room lighting, adding new separate outlets for the refrigerator and washer etc. I have since hired him on 3 separate occasions to install 3 bathroom light boxes, install new smoke/carbon monoxide detectors upstairs, to install 11 potlights in the living and family rooms, replace/expand some plate covers and wiring, install a light timer etc. Ed is very professional, meticulous, shows up on time etc. He did an amazing job on everything in the bsmt and the rest of the house (especially the potlights). We would definitely hire him again and I can highly recommend him.
