I made the right choice getting Mapleleaf Electric to do the complete knob and tube wiring, panel, and service upgrade to our hundred year old house. Alex was a great guy to deal with, and I liked him as soon as I met him. When choosing a contractor, we sometimes meet a good owner or sales person, then select them, expecting that their team is the same as them, but it ends up being the opposite. Not in this case. Alex leads by example and had a good crew working with him: Adolfo, Alejandro, Danielle, Avi and Sean (and even Stefania working behind the scenes). They got the job done in the agreed upon time (technically, earlier than expected). I was glad that they patched holes, and cleaned up, as this was as important to me as the wiring and panel upgrade itself. Alex was always concerned about making sure that everything was taken care of, and always made sure we had power and lighting where we needed it after each day was done, no matter what it took to make that happen. The man obviously cares about his customers - there's no doubt about that. I also appreciated that they were respectful of my elderly mother, who they had to work around. They were mindful of her needs and presence. This was something I had worried about before starting the project, but once I saw how they handled things, I was very much at ease with everything. I wouldn't hesitate to refer people to Mapleleaf Electric. I know we won't have another wiring upgrade to do in this house again, but if there were ever problems to fix, or changes, or other types of upgrades or additions to do, I wouldn't think twice about having Alex and his crew here again. Alejandro installed a conduit in our very old loft. It was a fairly complicated path and he had to put it through shelves and cupboards. He was very punctual, friendly and quick! The conduit is barely visible. He cleaned up very thoroughly when he was finished as well. We would definitely use him again and have recommended him to friends.

We needed some work done and they did it very cost effectively and fast. Very happy with the service and would most definitely recommend to anyone needing their type of services.

I received a defect notice from the ESA when I was doing some kitchen renos in my home. I found Alex from here on Homestars, and called him 1st. The same day that I called him he promptly arrived (exactly at 5 pm which was our scheduled our appointment time), assessed the situation and repaired it on the spot. Alex is highly skilled and very friendly- I would recommend him for any of your electrical needs. Thanks again Alex!

I got Alex and his team to install pot lights in my home and was so impressed with the results. It was quick, clean and very well done. They all provided me with great, professional advice not only for what they installed but with various other areas in my home. Adolfo, Daneilla and Avi spent the day getting 14 potlights into my older bungalo just recently. The finished product looks great. All three woked as a team and got it done in a short timeline considering the task. If needed I would call on Adolfo and his team again to get further electrical work done in my house.

I live in Montreal but I own 2 homes in Toronto which I rent out to tentants. I needed to upgrade & change one of my panel from fuse to breaker and from 60 to 100amp. I was recommended Alex from Mapleleaf Electric from a real estate agent which is a great friend of mine. I called him up, and he came the next day which was convenient for me and gave me a quote. I wanted Alex to do this work, because it was clear to me that he is very experienced and cared about my interests. He is very personable, professional and knowledgeable; three qualities that I find most important. Alex was absolutely meticulous and thorough, a real pro. Frankly, if you want the job done correctly with no hassles and to work with a tradesman who is true to his word, then look no further than Alex. If he’s more expensive, there’s a reason.
