Alex and his team were a real pleasure to deal with throughout our significant renovations. Form the first visit, I could tell how honest and professional they are. When things came up that required decisions and changes, Alex gave great advice and offered cost saving suggestions more than once. Also I couldn't ask for better responsiveness. Whenever I needed them, they were there, even on short notice. I highly recommend Mapleleaf Electric.

I am always very nervous when hiring someone to do work around the house. Worried about getting ripped off and people taking shortcuts. I cannot say enough good stuff about Mapleleaf Electric Inc. First of all, we received a quote from Alex for knob and tube removal and it was the best quote we received and detailed the work that needed to be done. Alex stood by his quote and made sure the work was done properly. They team of guys (shoutouts to Thomas, Jr., Alex and Leo) arrived on time every day. Always courteous, polite with a great sense of humour. The guys were not your typical guys, they were all good people too. I've never felt more comfortable around people we've contracted. They were very respectful of our house, the property and the neighbours/tenants. They controlled the dust as much as possible in a knob & tube reno and kept the place clean. Floors were covered, furniture was covered. They were also super respectful of our furbaby too which was a big bonus. These guys worked really hard, day after day. The job was completed before schedule. I am so happy with the work they did and the new light fixtures. Everything was perfect. I would highly recommend Mapleleaf Electric. They went above and beyond the scope of their jobs. I will never use another electrician. I just wish they did more then just electrical cause I'd hire them for everything!!! These guys are fantastic. Alex and his team of subs... punctual, friendly, patient.... we not only rewired a ~75-year-old home but were moving furniture in around them, unpacking where possible, and changing the plan/positioning for lights and outlets as we determined what furniture fit where. They worked through the weekend to meet an agreed upon deadline for the work (we had painters scheduled for the following day). We had gotten a couple of other quotes and they were very competitive as well.

We want to thank Alex and his team for an amazing job rewiring our house. The project included removing old knob and tube, replacing the electrical panel, and installing potlights, light fixtures and many new electrical outlets. Our house is 100 years old and posed some special challenges but nothing these guys couldn't' handle. They made very few holes during the process that needed patching and made sure to clean up every day. They also made sure we had power to all essentials such as appliances at all times. They very very considerate, respectful, always on time, and brought a very positive energy to the house during a difficult time for any homeowner. The Team arrived punctually every day. They demonstrated that they were methodical in their processes, knowledgeable in their application and thoughtful in the manner in which they made holes and routed wire. Holes to route wire were made to avoid crown moldings and plaster ceilings and only when necessary to cleverly maximize possible usage. Although there is always some inherent damage to walls when re-wiring an old house, the impact was pre-planned to be as unobtrusive as possible. The homeowners are especially appreciative of this as the downstream post re-wiring repair is minimized. At the end of each day the Team would clean up the work areas before leaving. I am always some what uneasy when it comes to dealing with home contractors. Alex however, is not one of them. After getting 3 quotations I chose to go with Alex. I called him and he came right away and gave me a reasonable quote that same evening. I have a purpose built duplex house from 1923 with pretty much original electrical wiring and two meters. I was amazed on the minimal number of wholes they made to rewiring everything. Alex and his team were extremely accommodating and very professional. I have nothing but very high praise for him and his team. Thank you Alex

We had our whole house rewired last June. We chose Mapleleaf Electric after getting quotes and talking to 3 different contractors. Alex took notes and did not want to sell us things we did not want or need. I was a little nervous to leaf the contractors alone in the house but they were amazing. Thomas and Alex took good care of the house, protected all floorings and covered furniture in plastic in the areas they were working in. They also took good care of our scared cat. I interviewed 4 electrical contractors before choosing Alex and his team. There was just something instinctually that made me choose Mapleleaf! I didn't feel the hard pitch sales tactic or the lack of interest in my mediocre project. When Alex came to check things out for the quote, he was thorough and fair. His team was always on time and the boys were so sweet. In the end, the job was completed on time and the work was checked out by an ESA inspector. It passed with flying colours. I am not really going to talk about price as every job is unique but I will say that I expected the quote to be high considering the high ratings on HomeStars (in my opinion some companies believe that they have the right to jack up prices because of their high rating) - I was really surprised at how reasonable Mapleleaf Electric's quote was. The work was done in a professional manner and Alex's team was really knowledgeable! The best part of this experience is that I now have a reputable, reasonably priced company for all my ongoing electrical needs - and I look forward to being able to recommend them anyway I can! Alex was professional and prompt providing a quote and replying to all emails. His team were great at removing all knob and tube wiring in our home, while patching up all holes in the walls, and installing light fixtures. I would recommend his services.
