On Monday last week they installed three hanging light fixtures, replaced a switch, and confirmed that wiring was working properly. Not only that they are friendly and considerate, and listened to my concerns. They did the above work in just two hours time. I would definitely recommend their work.

Alex did a fantastic job for us! He installed 15 pot lights, and was extremely professional -- timely, clean, and very knowledgeable and insightful for our optimal pot light layout and installation. Alex completed the job in one day, where other contractors quoted for more. I would definitely recommend Alex to others, and will be asking him for future upgrades to my house! Thanks again Alex!

After a horrible experience with a contractor who pretended to know enough about electrical work (do not hire Colin Kennedy, of Kennedy Renovations!), we were forced to tear down our new ceiling in our basement apartment and cut holes in our new walls, and completely rewire everything. We got a quote from three different electricians, and for the professionalism and products that Maple Leaf offered, we were surprised at the reasonable estimate for the work. Now that everything is finished, selecting Alex as our electrician was definitely the right choice. There were many problems to fix around the apartment, and Alex and Adolfo efficiently corrected the issues, and made everything to code. Every desire I had about the placement of a light or an outlet, he’d say “No problem” without a fuss. We really felt like he was working for us, and following our plans. Our original electrical panel was not only wired poorly, but it was in the bathroom. At first, Alex thought that moving the panel would require a junction box in the bathroom, but he was able to move the entire panel into the hallway and rewire it properly with no junction box, allowing us to have the full wall safely patched in the bathroom. There were also <gasp> nine junction boxes hidden in the ceiling from the original contractor, and Alex was able to remove/redirect all of them but two, for which we’ll install access panels. On the final day, after everything was almost completed, I even threw in a last minute request to install an extra light in the living room, and once again he said “No problem” and made it happen. Alex and Adolfo are hard-working guys with good attitudes, and we feel fortunate to have found them for our big job. He predicted he’d be done in a week, and he showed up on time every day and worked until his duties were completed. The ESA came as planned at the end of the week and certified his work. We’d definitely recommend Maple Leaf Electric to anyone, friends or Homestars readers.

Hello Mapleleaf I have just had the pleasure of Alex and Adolpho working on my house. Electrical panel update and install of outdoor flood lights. Fabulous Guys!!! Honest as the day is long and talk about being neat and tidy!! Everything was explained to me and the work was done in an organized and timely manner. I in fact paid Alex too much. He realized this and came knocking back to my door to explain that I had over paid and handed over $50. What an honest wonderful Guy. I wanted to write to homestars but the system would not let me on no matter what I did. Now I have an electrician that I can count on. Alex Nunes and his partner Adolfo were the best Electricians I've contracted to do work in my home. I rate them not a 10, but a 20. They are knowledgable, precise, respectful of your time and the space in which they are working in. They return calls promptly, they show up on time and they clean up after the job is complete. Their suggestions of how many lights to install and their location were absolutely perfect. We all know it is very difficult having contractors working in our personal space, but these gentlemen were a pleasure to have working in my home. They truly are the best and I cannot say enough complimentary things about them. They are a great company and very hard working individuals and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Alex responded to my email & telephone calls promptly. He scheduled a date and arrived on time. It was amazing dealing with Alex from over the phone to the actual installation. Alex is very honest, hardworking and sincere. His team finished the job of installing 10 external potlights in under 3 hours along with a dimmer switch. Their work was meticulous & extremely professional. They used drop cloths and clean’t up after their work. I am extremely happy with Maple leaf electrics and would certainly recommend Alex to anyone looking for an honest, helpful and reasonable electrician. We had 8 pot lights installed by Alex. He was on time, very professional and was very outstanding. Alex and Adolfo were very friendly and good at explaining the process of their job. Exceptional work was done by them and I recommend them to everyone.

Alex and his team replaced four existing lower quality potlights and installed two new potlights. He was able to effectively address the challenges he encountered in replacing the existing four potlights and installed the two new potlights. Alex and his team also spent time in advance to prepare the area and spent time after to clean up. I would use Alex again.

We had Alex install 16 pot lights in our basement. We are making a playroom for our boys and the room was really dark. Wow - now it has wonderful lighting and the room has been transformed. Alex was great. He was able to find pot lights and dimmer switches that matched the other ones installed in the rest of the house by the previous owner. The finished job looks wonderful and works great. My parents just had pot lights installed by a difference pot lighting company and 8 bulbs burned out in the first day because their installer used poor quality bulbs – and charged the same rate as Alex. Alex uses good quality bulbs and we have had no burnouts. I will be calling Alex back in the future for our next renovation - the family room.
