On short notice, Maple Leaf Electric worked around my schedule and budget to deliver power to my detached rear garage and hottub just in time for winter. They worked non stop in the freezing cold to wire up the equipment and new panel. Bravo to Alex and his team and thanks for all your help.

I was referred to Alex from Maple Leaf Electric (MLE) by a friend about a year ago. Since then Alex has installed many pot lights in my living room, closets, hallway kitchen and stairwell. Also he had replaced my old outdated fuse panel with a new one. He had also recommended some energy saving ideas and what products do it best for the best price. I’m In the process of refinishing my basement and I have contracted MLE to completely rewire the whole basement and install pot lights and wall outlets. He works very clean and efficient. He does perfect work and takes his time, which is hard to find these days. You can’t go wrong with Alex and crew at Maple Leaf Electric.

Our initial call to Mapleleaf electric was a result of random search on Google. We needed 25 pot lights installed in our new home plus some extra plugs in the basement for our new exercise equipment. Alex is an outstanding, creative, knowledgeable and hardworking electrician. He provided us with many lighting options and ideas at a very reasonable price. He pays very close attention to detail in his work and is able to complete it quickly. We’re planning to use him for ALL electrical work required in our home.

I needed a total of 15 exterior potlights. I shopped around and ended up choosing Alex because he had great initial communication and promptly answered all of my questions and concerns. The job took longer than initially expected due to some complications running the electrical to a lower soffit - Alex & crew took their time to do it right, ensuring no damage to walls or ceilings. The end result looks great and best of all I know it was done properly. I will call Alex back in a heartbeat when I need an electrician.

I called many other companies. I compared prices & products and at the end I made up my mind by selecting Alex from Mapleleaf Electric. The one thing that made me decide to choose Alex out of everybody else was his vast knowledge and information about lighting and not just an expert of pot light installation. As being a detail oriented person (I am a professional electrical engineer), it took me a long time to shop around and ask the most important questions before hiring the right electrician. My major concern was prices vs. product. I found some companies charge the unbelievable price of $140 (my home builder charges $250 each). Most electricians charge $80, some $70 and even an unbeatable price of $65. That got me confused, and at the same time raised my awareness. The huge price difference allowed me to ask all companies what kind of pot lights they provided and where they get them from. Alex explained to me in details why a huge price difference and it all made sense to me. He was very thorough. You get what you pay for. Alex and his crew installed 80 low voltage pot lights Contrast lighting brand (Canadian company) all controlled by a low voltage magnetic dimmers. 46 pot lights in the main floor and the rest in the upper floor. Even if you have to spend more money for the finest quality pot light brand, at the end it saves you money and gives you peace of mind. Thanks Alex and his team for doing an amazing masterpiece job.

Great initial correspondence....promptly returned my internet request for a quote on 6 CFL outdoor potlights....price can't be beat for the level of expertise and service these guys provide...installation occurred 4 days after initial contact.....alex said it would take 5 hours and he was bang on....absolutely no mess, just as promised....very respectful of homeowner property and extremely meticulous in making sure that walls, floors not scuffed...A+++++ job....anyone who needs electrical work done in the GTA, ALEX IS YOUR ONLY OPTION!!!
