The owner called the night before around 8.30pm and told us they would be paving the small piece of our driveway which needed redoing after crumbling during the winter. We arranged to stay at home all day and no one appeared at all. We called twice and our neighbor (who was also having his driveway done) called twice. No one phoned until later that evening, the owner said they did not come because it rained, but it did not rain here! They did the work very quickly then came for their money, when I suggested they give us a discount for messing us around, he became angry and said he had lost a lot of money the day before, and we should have called his cell phone, although he did not explain why he could not use his cell phone and call us. Would never use them again. Customer service is not something they have heard of.

They were in the neighbourhood , removed old asphalt, put down gravel, escavated properly, re-ashphalt and contoured for run off of water. Done in one afternoon, great job. Would recommend to friends and neighbours.

This company was efficient with the job at hand. They installed the chimney liner as requested and also did some repointing of the brick work at no extra charge. I am very satisfied with the work that was done.

Royal side came out and paved our driveway. They arrived on time, and did an awesome job. The guys were courteous and polite, which you don't see very often. They took the time to explain exactly what they were doing, and how to maintain the driveway to ensure it lasts for many years. Thank you!

We recently had our driveway paved by Royal Side Paving and 2 days went online and read the reviews from previous customers. Some reviews caused us concern, however, we decided to go ahead to due to a favourable recommendation. Not only did they show up exactly at the specified time, we found their work to be excellent. Our driveway looks fantastic and we are more than satisified with a job well done by Royal Side Paving.

In regards to Royal Side paving, I too was uncertain about what to expect.Some reveiws scared me, but its funny how mostly negative reviews are posted. My experience was that all equipment and manpower was on hand to do a quick efficient job.Many satisfied coustomers including a local business owner was able to show me their work done one year previously.I paid a small deposit and the balance the following day when I was 100 percent satisfied.I had requested a few minor changes which were done immediately hassle free.No bad language was used when I was onsite(unless under their breath).Thank You Royal Side for such a great efficient, but more important" AFFORDABLE" job.

I had this company pave my driveway to the back garage which was gravel at the time. It was September and the end of the paving season I was told so they would give me a deal. The price was good for the amount of paving that was required so I arranged to have it paved. They were to come after another job in the area and I waited until 4:30 pm but they did not show up so I thought they would do it the next day and I left. I received a call on my cell at 6:30 pm to say that they were done and wanted the rest of their money. I returned home and by this time it was dark and the machinery was leaving as I arrived. I could not inspect the driveway in the dark so foolishly I gave him the rest of the money. They did the driveway in an hour as I was told from my neighbors. There are numerous marks from the roller and the pavement was not packed down very good. I now have numerous weeds growing through the pavement and you can tell what a terrible job they did. I would NEVER have this company do an inch of paving. I have called and they did call back and said they would fix it but no show yet. Now I have to weed my paved driveway.

Some guy did come to my house, and gave a quote for 2500, this is not under by any means, but he did not ask for a deposit, and said to pay him after the job is complete, this has never happened to me before, I am not sure about this company, but am willing to try to get this company to do it. The salesman was very nice.

unfortunately we were not home when they came to do the job.my nieghbor was home and was watching them for me .all they did was scrape off the old asphalt and laid down new stuff which was not very hot at all. as i was making the drivway a little bigger some of the asphalt was laid over top of dirt instead of stone. as a result my driveway is sinking and heaving it has marks left by the roller and my car has left divts in it .so twenty three phone calls later my one year warranty is now over and of course no one ever showed up. dont ever use this company

I will never recommend Royal Side Paving to anyone, they did my driveway, walkway and rebuild my front steps the job was poorly done. I complained, they returned a month later only to make it worse than what it orginally looked like. I find the workers are VERY RUDE, every word came out of their mouths was a swearing word, My neighbour was so upset because he had his young children playing in the front, ever though he spoke to them about it they totally ingored him. After they had finished they went into my neighbour's garden and took his dirt to put around the edge to make it look finish because they ran out of dirt. I spoke to the owner and he did nothing. The only reason why I went with this company because I saw their signs all over my neighbourhood, I spoke to couple people on my street and they too were not happy with the work.
