    driveway paved

I asked for an estimate, got it. The old asphalt was taken away, they put in new gravel and graded it and I had a new driveway in a week. Good service, one year guarantee, Nice job, will use them again.

    Paving and Interlocking

Approximately 2 years ago I purchase a model home in Wasaga Beach, which didn't have any outside detailing. The home had no look. This summer with my inquiries Royal Side Paving came recommended: the salesman came, and patiently worked with my ideas, and giving my home an unique look than like no other homes. The company follow threw with the project date and time. I was impress with the group preformances and the finish product. The side walk way to my home were design with interlocking and a double drive in asphalt.I would HIGHLY recommend this company to others. Thank You ROYAL SIDE PAVING!!! :)

this company is rude, they do not take into consideration the mistake they do. My dads driveway is done terriable the window from the drive way there was at least 5 inch hight difference. when they did the driveway there is no more hight from the window. they put at least 5inches of ashfault and refusse to fix the dirve way they yell at you and hang up they feel we are wrong and they are right. Next time never pay anyone until the work is done. what a HORRIABLE COMPANY.

    Driveway Paving

I had my driveway paved about a month ago by this company. They gave me a day's notice that they were coming to pave and expected to be paid in cash. I was not home when they paved, they broke into my garage and took both doors off their tracks which I was eventually able to fix myself. When I contacted them about it at first they denied goin in the garage then denied they did anything wrong in the garage. My driveway is full of work boot footprints and they're being very evasive about when they will come back and fix it despite their 1 year work/material guarantee. Also, I believe there's 3 inches of asphalt on the driveway. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They were also very rude and yelled at me when I called about the problems.

    driveway paving

One Satuarday afternoon last april a Man from Roualside Paving Inc showed up at my house and asked me if i was interested in paving my driveway. I had two other qoutes at this time and his price was almost half of his competators. In may they came to start the work and took the top layer of gravel off and put down some fresh stuff and compacted it. I was told they would be back in two months to pave it and that it needed time to settle and be driven on. One week later i came home and it was paved! I called and asked why? He told me that thye did a compaction test and it was hard enough to pave and that i could park on it in three days. He came 5 days later for the rest of his money and asked me why i hadn't parked on it yet and i told him i was concerned because it seemed really soft. He assured me it would be fine 5 days was more than enough time. My f-150 sank into the driveway an inch where i parked. And my wife dodge neon was leaving tire marks all the way from the bottom to the top where she parked. When i call him to come out and look he said it was normal for some tire marks and they would go away. After the first rain fall when the driveway was wet you could really see the poor quality as there where also FOOTPRINTS all over. when i called him he told me that they were mine and i walked on it to soon!!! Not the case. They were soles from steeltoe boot not running shoes!! By the end of the summer my driveway looked horrible and i had asked him a dozen times to come out and look at it. At first he stood me up 3 times saying he would be there at a certian time and then not show up or call. when i called him to find out where he was he got angry with me and told me he had jobs to do and they were more important. BS. I took pictures and mailed them registered mail. Called his boss and even his boss was giving me the run arround and told me that it was the salemans job to keep the customers happy and not to bother him>> again BS. So here it is a year later and i am now going to take legal action against them. I have Miller paving engineers coming to do a compaction test and sample of the paving. Oh yea i didn't notice until the spring thaw that they took the layer that they scrapped of and dumped it in the bushes at the side of my house causing a water dam and the run off doesn't make it to the road. my estimate is about three yard of gravel and dirt. I am totally disgusted with there work and told all the neighbours what was happening and some of them lost there deposit because they didn't want them to pave there driveway. IF ANYONE SEES A ROYAL SIDE PAVING SIGN PLEASE STOP AND WARN THE HOME OWNER OF THESE GUYS AND THE QUALITY OF WORK THEY DO.

    Patio stone work and paving

Three years ago, I had my backyard and side pathway done with natural stone. This summer, I decided to re-pave the driveway and do the patio in front of my house with the same stone. I got 3 quotes and even though I was very pleased with Torontario, the original landscaper, I decided to go with RoyalSide Paving who were almost $1500 cheaper. To start with, the owner was asked to match the existing stone colour. He recommended Terra Cotta and I went with his reco, trusting that his 30 years of experience would be bang on. When the stone arrived, I expressed some concern that it looked a bit too "red." He assured me that the existing stone would've looked very similar because it has sun-faded. I reluctantly agreed with his opinion. After about half of the stone was laid, I called him again and said that I was pretty sure he'd got the stone colour wrong. Again, he told me that, although it wasn't a 100% match, it would be fine and I'd be happy with the result. Finally, I decided to call my original landscaper and ask him to dig through his records for the actual stone colour. To my shock, it was Brittany Beige. I informed RoyalSide of this - that I trusted their recommendation and they were completely wrong. They told me that they couldn't return the stone and that it's too bad but Terra Cotta was on the contract. That's not all though. To make matters worse, they had done such a poor job laying out the stone (they started from the middle of the patio instead of the driveway edge) that I ended up with different widths of stone cut to fill in the gaps. Everything from 1" slivers to 6" pieces that were even cut crookedly. RoyalSide's response to this was: nobody's perfect. I am appalled at their customer service and workmanship. And I would never recommend RoyalSide Paving to anyone.
