    Glass Insert

    Fabulous! I ordered a glass insert to be put in my existing door, rather than pay for a new custom door. The team was on-time, quick, tidy and I love the end result. The insert itself is beautiful and allows a signficiant amount of light into the house.

    door insert & window replacement

    Very pleased with this service. We selected four styles from his website and Barry brought the units up to the house to see closeup. Worked so well, we had him replace another window to match it. Prompt and on budget.

    Door Inserts

    What a Pane is great!! They showed up when they said they would and completed the job in a fast professional manner. Would not hesitate to recommend their services!! My entrance door looks amazing!! Thanks Guys!!

    Double Door entry, side window [custom] in hallway and Double Window on second floor to deck

    This is our second upgrade with What A Pane, and certainly won't be our last, after moving in to our new house we called Barry to have the front entry doors re glassed, we were so happy with the look that we had them custom make the side window and double window on the second floor to match the "Solstice" design that we chosen for the entry doors, the final look is absolutely stunning. People are stopping on the street and commenting on how great our house now looks. Kuddos to Barry and crew again for a quality installation at a great price, use this Company with full confidence you will be Completely Satisfied. Peter and Terry Whyte

    Wrought Iron Inserts

    Recently I called What A Pane Inc about some wrought iron inserts for my front entrance. I spoke with John and he was able to come to my home the same day. My wife and I chose a design and they were installed within the hour. GREAT SERVICE!! The price was very reasonable and they even supplied a 10 year written warranty.     Front Door Glass Insert

    I was very happy with the prompt service I received from "What A Pane". I happened to be outside one afternoon and saw them installing a neighbors door and within a matter of an hour I was having a wrought iron glass insert installed in my door. It was finished in less than an hour and looks fantastic. My only complaint and my reason for giving the company 8/10, is that while they had a large verity of glass inserts to choose from right in that back of their truck, they only had white trim to go around the glass. Since the insert is wrought iron, I would have preferred black.

If you have seen other colours, it is because the homeowner has painted the frame after the fact If other colour frames were available on the market, we would certainly offer them to customers.     Wrought Iron Insert

    I am quite happy with their service and price. Friendly staff and efficent installation. Took them only an hour to cut and replace my double entrance door from half to full. Would appreciate if there are more choices available for most of my neighbours are selecting the same 3-4 styles.

    Glass door inserts

    Barry from What a Pane was great and very professional. First, they came on the agreed time, right on the dot. And secondly, the workmanship was done well and surprisingly quick. The price I'd say was average. However, the style I selected was cheaper than from other companies on the same style. Also, I thought What a Pane had more better looking selection overall. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thanks Erik from Markham

    Complete front double door plus garage entrance install - much more than just panes!

    We were looking to do a complete brick to brick front double door replacement, in addition to the wrought iron inserts. Based on all the wonderful reviews for What A Pane, we called them and Murray was at our house the very next day. He was extremely helpful and provided us with all the choices and information we needed. Our new doors (front entry as well as the entry from the garage to the house) were installed yesterday. Tudor who was our installer was excellent - very detail oriented and patient. Before the work was even finished, the neighbors were coming up to the house with their compliments on our new doors and asking us for the contact information for What a Pane. The lock that was supplied with our new door was not working perfectly and Tudor called the lock manufacturer and insisted that they come to fix it right away (which they did). We could not have been happier with our new doors and the service we received from What A Pane. Thank you Murray, John and Tudor! Most reviews I read for What A Pane are about inserts, but I would highly recommend them for bigger installation jobs because they really know doors and take pride in the work they do.

    Wrought Iron Insert

    John from "What a Pane" was prompt, considerate and thorough. He was extremely professional and answered all of our questions. His prices were far better than what we had anticipated and given the current economy, we were very happy that we were able to provide our home with this wonderful luxury.
