    Door Replacement

    I booked House Smart Home improvement based on the reviews on this site, but was quite surprised by the service and work done. I called for a quote and a representative came out promptly, but the professionalism definitely was lacking. It was like he almost didn't want my business - tried to speed me through the process and belittle any thoughts I had. He told me someone will contact me in a few days to measure my doors. No one contacted me for 2 weeks and I asked the representative if someone was going to contact me. He gave me the name of the installer who in my opinion was pretty rude especially when I started asking him questions eg. I asked him if I could seal off the entrance to prevent dust from coming in as they would have to cut the door out. He replied (paraphrased) "Nobody does that and you can do it as long as it doesn't get in our way" . To keep a long story short the install job was ok - when mounting the door they put a pin through the hole where the lock was suppose to be so I had to pull it out with a plier my lock would fully close as intended. I didn't notice it until after they left. Horrible service/ mediocre job. Home smart is a large outfit and outsource their work - would recommend going with someone personal and local.

    Window replacement

    After a long search for the right vendor to do business with, House Smart was by far the company which not only gave great service but truly wanted my business. The office staff, salesman were excellent and friendly. More importantly the installation crew were fantastic! Friendly, prompt, on time, professional, quick and clean...what more could you ask for. I would not hesitate to recommend House Smart if your looking for a great product and professional installation.

    New windows

    Good service, punctual in their arrival and windows done (3) in 2 1/2 hours. Very friendly staff . They look amazing and what a great difference, now the kids rooms and our kitchen are warmer and we don't hear any noise outside .

    Replacement Vinyl Windows

    I had my windows replaced in August 2015 from the old aluminum style to vinyl. Greg from House Smart came out to give me a quote, among 2 other companies, and helped me understand how House Smart did their work and the quality of their windows. The installation went smooth and I was impressed of the speed of the install and the cleanliness of the work done. The install team was great and did a wonderful job. I am thrilled at how my home looks and feels with the new windows (I went with the Cascade ones). Thanks House Smart, I recommend their service to all!

    Replacement Windows

    Our home is roughly 25 years old and we were experiencing some drastic condensation and pooling of water on many of our 3rd floor windows causing water staining, mold, mildew and the start of rot on some of the window sills. It's a problem area for humidity due to the fact that there are three bedrooms and two baths on this floor. So the condensation and mold were our main concerns when we decided to replace all the windows in our home. We had about half a dozen companies in for quotes. Greg did a thorough job of explaining the product and process from start to finish and was there to answer or help us with any questions we had. House Smart wasn't the cheapest (nor were they the most expensive) and what really sold us was the warranties (lifetime on both product and labour). Corey and his install crew were professional, punctual, efficient and completed the job as outlined. As with any big project (lucky us, we had 41 windows to replace!) it went over the projected timeline by a half day. There were also few things that we found that needed addressing such as a ripped window screen and a prominent scratch in one of the windows. Corey pointed out a few more things to us that he found that need correcting - things that we would have never have known were problems. It took longer than expected for the replacement window to arrive (and it also had a noticeable scratch on it, so that replacement needed to be replaced) but besides the extra time it took, the issues were remedied efficiently and hassle free. Corey also pointed out more than once that if we found anything else wrong, at any time in the future, to simply call and they will take care of it. After spending a pretty good chunk of change, it's nice to have those lifetime warranties reinforced like that so we don't have to worry about them not backing up their product or work. We're happy with our investment and would definitely recommend House Smart to anyone looking to replace or upgrade their windows.

    new windows and siding

    Our home is approximately 20 years old and had the original windows and siding as it was born with. We had so much condensation during the cold weather we placed towels on the window ledge to mop up the water. We met with Greg from House Smart and he showed us his product and recommended a model that would correct our problem. We checked other companies but felt so comfortable with Greg we chose House Smart to do the work. After meeting the rest of the crew and watching them perform their tasks we knew we had made the right decision. We are very happy with the end result and are very happy to say we only use the towels in the bath since the new windows went in!

    Window replacement

    Loved it House Smart was recommended by a friend .We had alot of quotes done and did extensive research on window quality.Although they were not the cheapest the quality and especially the warranties are the best.The crew came and did an amazing job! They were tidy and very professional.Seven windows and a patio door in about 5 hours!Will recommend to any of our friends.

    windows & door

    After living in the house for 17 years, me and my husband think it's a good time to change all windows now. We did some research and decided to choose Home Smart Home Improvements to complete the job. They really did a good job, from guiding to choose the right type of windows/doors to installing properly. Even we got 6 months no interests finance. We got a lot of accomplishment from neighbors and friends. Good job & thanks!

    Window Supply and Install

    I had several quotes for a Window Supply and Install project for my home. House Smart had excellent sales and support and there price, product and process was very competitive without compromise. The installation crew was excellent and very respectful.

    windows and furnace
