I arranged for Markham Garage Doors to go out to my employers home to either repair or replace his automatic garage door opener which was no longer working. He had been told by another company previously that he would need to replace not only the automatic door opener, but the garage doors as well which would cost many thousands of dollars. Markham Garage Doors arrived right on time and fixed the problem within an hour for $158.20! Fantastic! I would absolutely recommend this company.

This is the only company from the huge list of companies listed in here that not only provided a great service, but also know how to treat customers before and after. This is the ONLY company that answered my email request and called back within 30 minutes and an hour after company technician was at my door. I am extremely happy with the service received and with the way I was treated as a customer! I highly recommend this company over ANY OTHER companies with more reviews and higher ratings here, thus they just provide a great service you EXPECT for a very reasonable price and everything is made with a smile! :) GREAT JOB ERNEST! I wanted to upgrade my Garage Door Openers from Belt Drive style to Jackshaft style in order to increase my available headroom. I was told by 3 other Garage Door Service companies that my doors were too close together to allow the installation of Jackshaft Openers. Chris at Markham Garage Doors was the only one to tell me that it would be no problem. The Jackshaft Openers were installed and they work great! Markham Garage Doors did a great job.

Markham Garage Doors installed a new garage door for me last October. Their service was great. They showed up to quote when they said they would and did the installation efficiently, on time and at the price quoted. Recently (August) I thought the door seemed be rubbing so I asked them to come out to check. They arrived when stated (called first to verify I'd be there). Turns out it wasn't rubbing but while here they oiled all the wheels, etc. and rustproofed the bottom metal plates, all at no charge. In summary, their service is great - they really take good care of their customers, both new and existing ones.

My previous garage door was a builder grade material which had started to crack after the severe winter we had in Ontario. The garage door opener was very noisy during operation and it did not improve a bit even after oiling the tracks and chains. So I guessed it was time for replacement for both the door and the opener. Markham Garage Doors was referred by my friend and I had gone to their showroom at Bullock Drive and had a look. I was so impressed by the doors and openers they offer. They were able to come to my house for a quote in a day and the installation could be done in just 3 weeks time. Brandon (the installer) had done a great job, nice workmanship and efficient. He cleaned up the site with no mess left behind. He had also offer valuable advices on how to maintain the garage doors and the opener. The aluminum capping around the garage door was done by another staff (which I regretfully forgot to ask his name) a day before the garage door was installed. This guy also had done a great job on the capping. There is no need for me to re-paint this frame anymore as it is aluminum which is virtually maintenance free. Now my garage door looks so much better, in a better color (in my opinion) with cast iron decorations. The opener is so quiet during operations and so smooth. I am very happy with the work done. We were backing out of our car garage when I accidentally pressed the remote again closing the door and the garage door was hit. I contacted Markham Garage Doors and they were very friendly and professional. It was not in our budget to have to replace the door, which I thought we would have to do. They did not try to upsell me but instead were able to fix the dent by installing support to the broken section. I called them in the morning and they were able to send someone out the same day to Whitby. Brandon Sloan was extremely professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. We are so happy we got this fixed by them and we will certainly be using them for any future needs as well as recommending them to friends and family. Thank you Markham Garage Doors!!!!

Few months ago, a roller broke on our older garage door causing it to crash to the ground in a crumpled heap with a snapped cable. Two fellows came within a couple hours and were swift and super helpful. We could not afford a new garage door but they found a way to repair the broken panels and replace parts. They put straight the badly bent track, added additional reinforcements and made it almost like new. Great to have them so nearby in Markham.

I had an insulated door with windows and a new super quiet belt driven, battery back-up opener put in by Ryan A. I'm pleased to report that not only was the job done super quick and neatly but with an unparalleled level of customer service! There was a technical problem which I had caused shortly after Ryan left and he came back to correct it with a smile. It’s not that easy to find service these days at this price and level of customer service. Thanks very much Markham Garage doors and Ryan A!

These guys are a classs act. They call back when they say they will, they deliver when they say they will, their workmanship is great and they very knowledgable. I was so happy with their work that I have already refered them to a number of new clients. I won't be using the big box stores anymore, when I can get the service and much better products from the guys at MGD.

The service was excellent. The price was reasonable, they showed up on time, completed the job promptly, and they were very professional. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.
