On August, 2012, when my washer broke, I called Delroy based on positive reviews from home stars. He came the next day. He looked and checked finally he said it will cost too much to fix because the part (motor) is expensive. It might not worth to fix, but then again it is up to me, if i decide to go ahead to fix it, he 'll be happy to order the part & come to fix it. At the end, we decided not to fix, we bought a new one instead. I appreciated his honesty.

We had a problem with our washer making loud noises and didn't know who to call. We saw the 50+ "10/10" reviews for Delroy. We called him Saturday during the day and even though he is off on Saturdays he mentioned he could come out first thing the next day (Sunday). Delroy showed up before noon, quickly diagnosed, and fixed our problem in less than an hour. Delroy was very friendly, helped explain everything, and a true professional, and he is very fair in pricing. We would not hesitate to recommend Delroy to anyone for their appliance repairs. I called Delroy at around 6pm and was lucky that he was in the area. He was able to fit me in after his current appointment. He was friendly, sincere, and explained everything in detail to make sure I understood. He initially told me over the phone that what I had described was a broken motor, but when he came over it was only a blown fuse. He was in and out in 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend him, and keeping his number for future jobs. Thanks Delroy!

After literally 2 months trying to get my Samsung Dryer repaired by a "certified Samsung repair company" (called Koambra) with zero callbacks or email replies, I got fed up and tried homestars. I called Delroy and he returned my call in 20 minutes. 2.5 hrs after his call, he was at my house and fixed the problem within 20 minutes. As I wasn't personally present, he had no problem coming back the next day to pick up payment. Lightning fast, pleasant and honest, Delroy was the right choice!

I had a broken washer/dryer combo unit in a small condo. My washer broke some days ago and after an unsuccessful attempt by another “repair” guy to fix it, I was at the point of throwing this unit out and buying another one. After doing some research and checking out the stores, I decided to give it one more try and found Delroy on this site. Delroy exceeded my expectations. He came on the same day (even though it was Sunday!); he was very professional, friendly, fast and pleasure to deal with. He is very reasonably priced and delivers on his promises. He even went some extra mile helping me with my refrigerator settings. Delroy saved me about $1400 today as I dont need to buy a new machine now. I will definitely call Delroy again, he is my appliance guy to go to. :)

It was difficult to find someone who would be willing to come just to look at a dishwasher that was sort of working, but leaving all kinds of residue on the dishes requiring them to be cleaned a second time by hand, even though we were using a rinse aid. The dishwasher was only a year old. Delroy trouble-shooted first by phone, and then arranged to have a look at it the next day. He arrived within the 3 hour window given, was helpful at explaining what needed to be done, did the work in a promptly manner, and even answered unrelated questions to my washing machine. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, and will call him again for any other of my appliances requiring servicing in the future.

I contacted Delroy about a leaky dishwasher. Initially he worked with me by phone to find out where the leak was coming from. He explained that it makes sense to help somebody fix something simple by phone. We determined that it was something that he would have to fix. Delroy obtained the necessary part and came over a few days later. He replaced the leaking part that had cracked and he did a test run to ensure a proper fix. I enjoyed speaking with Delroy and have him on speed dial if I need any other appliance repairs. I would not hesitate to recommend him to family or friends.

I contacted Delroy because of the comments here on this website. He did not dissapoint. He was a bit late to the job because he was extremely busy - but he apologized and gave me a 2nd arrival time that was 100% accrurate. Within 5 mins of his arrival he pinpointed the issue and got to work. 5 mins later my washing machine was fixed. The first company I called told me the pump was broken, quoted me $350 and then vanished with my deposit. Delroy proved them wrong and saved me a ton of money. He is very friendly and professional. I would absolutely use him again and reccomend him to anyone.

The first words out of Delroy's mouth were "this is an easy repair, I'm going to show you how to do it, so you can do it yourself next time". That is the true sign of an honest professional. Delroy explained what he was doing, spoke of his family and was a true gentleman. While he arrived later than his expected time, he called to explain the delay. Total respect for the man!

Delroy is a very nice, professional man. His price was better than two others that I checked. He is an amazing singer as well :). What else you should look for?
