Being a Mom and soon to be Mom again I needed help and I was concerned about the chemicals that some of the cleaning companies use. My oldest son has eczema and cannot come into contact with chemicals- especially cleaning chemicals ( he breaks out with rashes) So I had researched many cleaning companies and the one that struck me was New Century Maids – they used eco friendly cleaners that were safe for my entire family. They explained the entire process and I was very impressed – they know what they are talking about – the office staff were excellent in answering all my questions ( even wrote emails to them 6 times a day) they reassured me everything would go well. It was the best decision that I have made and I refer them to anyone who will listen. Thanks NCM for your caring.

I was extremely disappointed with the cleaning job, which I expected to be excellent based on the reviews on Homestars, as well as the claims made on New Century Maids own site. The service provided was the "initial clean", which is meant to be a thorough cleaning of my home. I was billed for 6.5 hours of work (2 people worked for just over 3 hours). Total cost was 220 (including HST). The cleaners completely missed (as in did not clean at all) areas of my home, including under beds, the kitchen sink, a small mudroom and behind the TV console. My kitchen floor still had rice krispies and juice stains. I was completely shocked and disappointed. I phoned Kamila (a customer service representative), who was very patient and allowed me to list all of my complaints, She offered either a $30 discount on a subsequent clean or a free re-do. I accepted the re-do. I went around my home and took pictures of all the areas that were missed or not done well and emailed the list to Kamila. She was appreciative and said she would let the cleaners know what to do the next day. When I returned home the next day, I emailed Kamila to let her know that the cleaners had not come, since I checked a few of the areas that were supposed to be recleaned. Later in the evening, though, I noticed one thing had been moved. The "redo" was so poor that I hadn't even noticed that cleaners had been in! Besides missing areas completely, my other major complaints are the following: -the cleaners were 35 minutes late (were supposed to arrive between 10:30 and 11. Didn't arrive until 11:35. I received a call at 11 saying they were almost there) -I left a typed note with instructions regarding where to put general clutter. Not a single thing was put away. -the areas that were cleaned were not thoroughly done. For example, the bathroom shower was cleaned, but there was still lots of soap scum on the tile. I would not recommend New Century Maids to anyone.

I am so happy I finally decided to have my home cleaned! It is so much easier for me to maintain it in between visits too. I am also relieved that New Century Maids has lived up to the great reputation they have on HomeStars, which is how I found them. I waited until they had cleaned my place 4 or 5 times to write a review to be sure I continued to get the great service I got on the first couple visits. And I have. They just came again and it is beautiful. Thank you ladies!! I have had friends tell me that sometimes, in their experience with other companies, the service goes downhill after the first couple of visits but I have found that so far the effort and work is still top notch! I am super happy to have the same ladies (a team of 2) come each time. Always on time, always with a smile. I think that is very important because they know my place and my preferences. And my cats ;) As I think many pet owners might agree, it's always a concern to have people coming in when I am not there (will they get out or locked in a closet...). I feel these ladies understand and I am secure leaving them. I come home to a sparkling clean home and happy, sleeping cats. Thank you! Finally, the customer service I have received is excellent. Someone always answers the calls, and my questions, or returns an email very quickly with the information I requested. They are helpful, friendly and professional. I usually talk to Kamila and she is great. It's really hard to find great service these days. I feel New Century Maids values me as a customer. How refreshing! And I appreciate the great work they provide. No hesitancy in recommending them.

Thanks for all the hard work! It was fantastic to come home to a lovely clean place after work. I also liked how friendly you are. I dealt with another company previously and they weren't friendly at all and gave the impression that they were entitled to my business. This experience was a nice refreshing change.

My move in cleaning was really just perfect, everything was so clean and sparkling, I was very happy with all the details preformed. The cleaning ladies were extremely nice and worked hard.

I can't get over how impressive it is that NCM is so passionate about pleasing their customers. It's incredible that they are really trying to have a service that is unique to each of their clients. Not every household needs the same thing, so I think it's awesome that they recognize this and tailor their service to each individual user. Isabelle was very informative, i am happy that I found this company. If you're looking for quality service and a devoted team, I highly recommend New Century Maids!

What I love best about New Century Maids from getting notification via email to the fact that kitchen garbage is taken out at the end, and everything in between, Great.

This is the first time we hired a housecleaning service and we are happy to find them so quick. I went on their website to ask for a quote and the next day we had scheduled a walk-thru visit to get a good estimate. Alex was courteous and professional. He answered all our questions. We had our place cleaned the past week and it's spotless. I'm very impressed with what they did - especially bathrooms and floors. Wasn't expecting them to make the bed, what a nice surprise!

I was so happy with my last cleaning just had to let everyone know, the attention to details was amazing, my house is fabulously clean, so happy I found New Century Maids. The lady was very professional and courteous and I'd definitely use them again in the future.
