Kitchen reno and addition
This is the second renovation we've done on our home and the differences between working with Pavel and Novacon compared to our last contractor were night and day! Pavel's pricing was fair, his crew treated our home with care and respect, and the entire experience was very positive. Pavel offered sound advice at many stages of the project and kept us informed as things progressed. Several times he made little tweaks (e.g. higher quality insulation in a crawl space) that were above and beyond what the plans called for just because he takes pride in his work and wants his clients to be happy in the end. In renovating an older home there will always be surprises - Pavel would lay out the options for us and explain the pros and cons in a way we could understand. More than once he came up with an innovative solution that not only resolved the problem but also saved us money. He completed our project on time and put up with a lot of little add-ons along the way! We're very happy with the end result and would not hesitate to use Novacon again for a future project! We've already recommended them to friends in the neighbourhood that are contemplating a reno. We only wish we had met Pavel the first time we renovated!

Basement Renovation
As a designer it is important to work with reputable and professional contractors who you can count on to get the job done. I have worked with Pavel/Novacon on several projects and currently am working with him on a basement renovation. He is great with my clients providing good sound advice with respect to construction, is very reasonably priced and trustworthy. You can count on Novacon whether as a partner or directly on a job for all of your general contracting needs. He will provide good sound solutions and deliver with the highest standards.

Complete Basement Reno
Working in the home improvement industry myself, I am very particular in what I want. Pavel and Novacon Construction Inc met my expectations in every way from the first meeting through to the completion of the project. Timing: We were on a limited time frame and Pavel's crew was able to deliver, even considering some extras we decided on along the way. Quality of Work: even with the tight window that we had, Pavel's crew took no shortcuts. The quality of work is outstanding and we are constantly getting compliments on the level of workmanship that Novacon put in to the project. Budget: Having the flexibility to pick up our own finishing details (bathroom fixtures, carpet, lighting) made it easy to come in under budget, and had we not have decided on a few extras along the way, we would have easily been lower than budget. That being said, with all the extras that we did do, we were still less than 10% over. Pavel was very accommodating to any revisions and additions along the way and his pricing was always fair. That being said, we will be using Novacon Construction again for any future renovations and eventually for a complete design / build project within the next few years. In addition to that, we have already recommended Novacon Construction to 2 other family members, one of which has already agreed to go ahead with the project.

build my home
Novacon, built my house. We dealt mainly with Pavel, he was our contractor, very professional, hard worker and easy to work with. helped me with everything and at the end of it all I am so happy, I love my new home and all the special details Novacon helped me with, they understood our needs and wants, explained things and gave us exactly what we wanted. They where helpful in every aspect. and I felt completely comfortable while they were around, and I learned a lot too. Neighbours always complement on how nice the house looks and how great our veranda is, with our custom made posts, it really stands out. Thanks Melanie

Basement renovation and powder room
We hired Novacon to renovate the basement in our 100 year old house. The space was originally damp, dark and scary! Pavel and Co. turned our basement into a comfortable living/family room with a separate furnace room, storage area, and powder room which we now use every day. Among other things, the project involve interior waterproofing, framing/drywall, electrical, carpet installation, shelving installation, painting, tiling, and installing the fixtures in the powder room. We found Pavel easy to communicate with and always responsive to our phone calls. When changes to our plan had to be made (inevitable in a 100 year old house) Pavel was patient and explained our options. Andre and the other workers showed up every morning and worked full days until the project was complete, pretty much right on schedule. We got numerous other quotes for this project and Novacon was not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. I would not hesitate to recommend Novacon.

I have to say that your basement was one of the more drastic before and afters...from a dark damp dungeon to a beautiful usable family room with storage and a functioning 2 pce bathroom :o) I know you will enjoy the basement renovation for years to come.

Total Home Renovation
I was looking to renovate my home and Pavel from Novacon came highly reccomended. I got 4 different quotes from different General Contractors Novacon wasn,t the highest or cheapest but me and my wife felt most comfortable with his knowledge, honesty and professionalism it was exactly what we were looking for. Pavel gave us some great ideas for our design very modern and contempoary it was the look we were trying to acheive very impressed. All the tradesman were awesome very clean,respectful, and professional a bunch of great guys, it means alot especially when we were not their most of the time Peace of Mind. Thanks again Pavel for making our renovation a pleasent experience and our beautiful home looks AMAZING your hard work really paid off me and my wife are very Happy.

Eavesdroughs, Fascia, Soffit
Excellent work! I hired Novacon to do the eavesdroughs, fascia, and soffit for my house. Quick, efficient, clean... they did a stellar job. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Built staircase into existing space.
Pavel at Novacon not only finished on time and on budget, he actually made suggestions in the course of the work that meant his final price was less than quoted. And the staircase looks terrific.

Irregular bathroom shower stall
My mother needed a 3/4 bath tub removed due to a leak and water damage. She was beside herself with stress as she didn't know where to turn, who to trust? You never know what you're going to get these days when you invite someone into your home to hopefully make an existing problem better. A good friend of mine referred Pavel to me and spoke very highly of him. At first meeting I was impressed. He was punctualy, courteous, engaging, friendly and very knowlegable. He knew my mom was stressed and he set her mind at ease by speaking her language, not insulting her intelligence and actually convinced her to change materials and save money. The work itself was done by his father Andre who was a complete sweetheart. He was THE most meticulous and quiet worker ever, we almost didn't know he was working. The finished product was beyond our expectation. The tiling shows how much pride he takes in his work. We are very happy with the outcome. The overall project was taken care of by Pavel and his father and they make a great team, they stand by their product the quality speaks for itself. I would recommend this contractor to anyone and everyone, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with Pavel and his father, very satisfied customer... and most of all Mom is happy.

Full Kitchen Renovation
Very Impressed with the profesionalism and Honesty of this company. When my wife and I started to consider a kitchen renovation we had heard many horror stories from friends and neighbours about so called renovation companies. We interviewed 5 different contractors for our project, and after doing our research we chose Novacon. (Thankfully!!!) The kitchen looks better than what we planned. Great Job Novacon. Adam
