Drain unclogging
Val is great - we have used him multiple times before for various yhubgs, including replacing a Garbo eat or, fixing leaky toilets and pipes, and now unclogging a shower drain. Fast and friendly service. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.

Leaking elbow connection
Got in touch with Val after I discovered a leaking elbow connection in my wall. He responded immediately and after giving him the info via text (including pics), and we made an appointment. He showed up when he said he would, was extremely professional and wore boot protectors. He ended up replacing two elbow connections and was extremely fast and methodical. Excellent service and would HIGHLY recommend.

Excellent advice and communication.
They were very knowledgeable and helpful. I described my problem, sent pictures and they directed me to the exact part that I needed. Did not charge me unnecessarily. I am sure they would provide excellent service for any plumbing job.

1) Backwater Valve and 2) Sewer Gas Issue
I found Valentin on Homestars - great reviews. I called, left message which he returned promptly. Before coming out, he provided free advice - coaching me on simple fixes to my sewage odour issue to avoid unnecessary expenses. In the end, I needed more help. We scheduled a visit. He was on time and provided clear advice and pricing. Once I gave go ahead, his crew came the next day and completed the work- which included a backwater valve in 2.5 days. they took care of the permit and lined up the City inspector. They laid drop sheets, removed all debris and were very courteous. I have no reservation in recommending Strong Plumbing.

Backup Sump Pump Installation
The reviews are true. Val is excellent. I researched for a few weeks for a plumber to install a backup sump pump because my main pump was working a lot during rain storms. I eventually kept coming back to the reviews on Val and Strong Plumbing. Val was prompt in responding to my initial contact with him (2 other of the top rated plumbers on HomeStar didn't even return my call, period), his pricing was competitive, and he even broke down his pricing for me so that I could propose an alternative arrangement that worked better for me (and that we ultimately agreed to). He came to the site on time (alerting me that he might be late, but in fact, made it on time), completed the installation very efficiently, and left the area very clean. He also took time to take a look at and provide recommendations on a few other plumbing concerns that I had. I would certainly recommend Val to anyone.

Plumbing
This is the second time that we had Valentin come to our house. Last week he came for an emergency. The pipe going into the dishwasher was leaking badly.Valentintime, polite, and did an amazing job. He installed a new shut-off valve so that we were still able to have water. At that time Valentin noticed that the main water valve was old and needed to be replaced. He came back yesterday and replaced the valve and replaced a tailpiece for the water heater. On both occasions Valentin was on time and very efficient. Je took the time to explain what the problem was, and how he was going to fix it. We are very pleased with the work that he did and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Kitchen garburator

Replace bathroom tap
Valentin replaced the tap and identified problem with the water heater. Work was done quickly and he maintained a clean work area.

Clay Drain replacement, interior house perimeter only. Water Service line update to 3/4
As a result of tree roots causing a backup, we had some initial emergency work done by a contractor that we shortly fired before going too far. Valentin assessed the inferior work, and provided a concise evaluation and recommendation for us. His quote was one of two, both inline by 5%. Ultimately, it was Valentin's approach and professionalism that won him the job. His team was fantastic; they were respectful, polite, prompt, careful and professional. Both my partner and I have quite intense and busy jobs; Valentin texted updates throughout the day and was available at any point to address questions and concerns. I've already referred him to a colleague and would again without question. What a lovely crew and a job well done. Thank you.

Toilet Installations,, faucet replacements, shower repair
Valentin is the best lumber we have ever used. After replacing an outdoor faucet, we were so impressed by his professionalism, plumbing knowledge and quick response time that we hired him to take care of several more plumbing issues that we had kept putting off. He had to deal with some very old plumbing and managed it all very effectively and efficiently. We highly recommend him and will not hesitate to use him again in the future.
