Faucet Garage, Clogged Drain, Clean Backwater Valve
Valentin is extremely responsive and efficient. Very pleased. He not only fixed the problem - but he provided me with helpful advice and instructions so that it would not happen to us again. For one part of the job he needed an additional tool. He immediately sent another member of his team to come and complete the work. While he was here I asked if he could also do some work at a nearby relative and the crew went over right away and checked and cleaned the backwater valve.

Kitchen faucet replacement and tub leak repair
Valentin showed up when he said he would, did a good job, and gave us a good, fair price too. On another occasion, we needed a plumber - he couldn't make it, but he sent a friend who did a good job.

Backwater valve and water supply line
The floor drain in my basement backed up and I wanted to resolve the issue by installing a backwater valve. I figured I would replace my water supply line, which was lead, at the same time. I called Valentin, who was super responsive and had his crew (led by Denys) out within a few days. This is the second time I’ve used Strong - they replaced the water supply line in my first home. I had a great experience both times and I recommend Valentin to friends and family on a regular basis. Here are the highlights of the job and my experience: - Valentin responded promptly and arranged a time to come over to see the extent of the job. - The quote was more than competitive. - The City of Toronto offers a rebate for the installation of backwater valves – the process requires paperwork, permits and a visit by a city inspector – Valentine took care of all of this. - Valentin’s team, led by Denys, arrived on time and went above and beyond to minimize damage and to keep the basement clean. They had to pull up some flooring which they did cleanly and neatly, making replacing the flooring an easy job. Also, this is a dirty job by nature, so I was very happy with the condition they left the basement in when the job was done. - Needless to say I had a great experience with Strong Plumbing and interacting with Valentin and Denys.

Valve replacement
The temperature control valve on my hot water tank seized up and was stuck on cold. Valentin was able to come the next day and replace it. he was on time and replaced it with higher quality parts.

Laundry room faucet and misc.
I am a repeat customer of Strong Plumbing and once again Val( what a nice man) has exceeded my expectations. I contacted Val on a Sunday morning and the work was all done Thursday morning. Val installed a new laundry room faucet that I had purchased. In addition, he replaced the flapper on a toilet and tightened a handle on a basement washroom sink. Val is a true professional and very organized. For example, he wisely asks for a picture or two of the job so he knows what he is getting into. This also allows him to complete the job in one visit which is ideal for both the customer and himself. I would highly recommend Strong Plumbing and I plan on using them again in the future. Rick

Faucet install and maintenance
Valentin did an excellent job replacing our kitchen faucet and laundry sink faucet, along with showing us how to maintain the basement backwater valve installed by another plumber a couple of years ago. He offered a clear set of options and cost estimates. The new kitchen faucet looks beautiful, and you'd never know that he'd removed a bedraggled 25-year old faucet before the new installation. As a bonus, he uses modern tech and communicates quickly and clearly via text. We've recommended him to friends and neighbours and will continue to do so.

Bathroom tap/faucet replacement
Valentin was fantastic - he responded immediately to my text Thursday afternoon - arrived on Friday afternoon with a part - however my condo is over 30 years old and the part could not be replaced. He came up with a cost effective solution and arrived on Monday morning with new fixtures. Although he was late he texted to indicate that he was in traffic. He tidied up after left the place spotless. He is the best plumber and i would highly recommend him

upgrade from old Sump Pump
I had an old Sump pump which discharged frequently when it rained. I contacted Val to upgrade the pump since I was afraid of my old unit not functioning during a power failure. Val was able to assess what i needed from photos of my old basic pump and dimensions of my pre-existing unusually deep and narrow pit. He recommended a terrific unit with backup power that would fit and was even able to hide the backup battery in a pre-existing cabinet. I would definitely use Val at Strong Plumbing again for future plumbing work.

Sewer backup valve installation and replacement of sewer pipe
I had a basement flood due to a sewer backup. Valentin and crew were very responsive and professional. Valentin came out promptly to do an assessment, and was very responsive in answering my questions (before, during and after the job). He was also very thorough in his initial inspection - more so than all the other companies I interviewed. His crew (Denys and team) were also great to deal with and were very hard workers - they got the job done within two days, and did an amazing clean-up job afterwards. My only small gripe is the cover for the valve was not quite where I wanted, but they've assured me they will come back as needed if I have any issues in future. And given how responsive they've been, I have no doubts they will be available to assist in future as needed.
