A few months ago we were experiencing a backup in our basement bathroom. Now we have a 60+ year old bungalow and have had issues with the city's side of the main for quite some time. In fact they've had to dig up their side of my property twice now. Eventually, however, they figured it out and resolved all issues on their end. That's why we were puzzled as to the backup this time. We contacted Strong and weren't disappointed. They were on time and professional. They used the camera to inspect our main from the laundry room and p trap where they discovered a large blockage which the inspection itself cleared out. They then took a few extra minutes to inspect the integrity of the line all the way through the house, showing us everything. They concluded that the line was healthy and that we shouldn't have any issues for quite some time. We would certainly use them again. Absolute professionals.

We had a leak in the main shut off valve to the house, and needed to co-ordinate with the city to shut off the water, get the valve replaced, and turn the water back on. We scheduled the shut-off and Valentin arrived 20 minutes later. He discovered that the piping was not compatible with any available valve, so needed to leave to find an alternative. He returned about 40 minutes later, installed a new valve using reducers. After the water was turned on, he confirmed with us by phone that the leak was repaired. He did not charge extra for the additional time. He was on time, as quoted, clean and willing to work within the timelines of the city. Can't ask for more.

My mom's outdoor faucet had been leaking through the handle for a while so we knew it was time for a replacement. She originally called another plumber who needed a week’s notice and when he came he advised her that replacing the faucet would also require breaking through the wall to install a shut off valve. She was nervous about doing that since the other plumber made it sound like it was going to be a big deal so she decided to call Strong Plumbing for a second opinion. Val was able to come right away and did agree with the first plumber’s recommendations but he reassured my mom that everything was going to be fine and that he would be able to do it no problem. He replaced the faucet and installed the inside shut off valve leaving only a small cutout in the drywall. He worked quickly, efficiently, stuck to his quote and did a fantastic job. He answered all of our questions and offered some great suggestions. We will definitely be using Val again for our future plumbing needs.

Strong Plumbing did a great job! Valentin did a thorough investigation and took the time to walk me through the problem. We brainstormed about potential solutions and I never felt pressured. The next day his crew (Denys and Oleh) showed up and got right to work. Both did a great job, very courteous, explained what they were doing and did a great job cleaning up at the end.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Valentin responded to my text within a day or so. He is clearly in high demand but asked me to send pictures of broken parts in toilet. Instead of setting up a visit for down the road, he GAVE ME INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO FIX MY TOILET. And I was able to do it myself. I'm 5 months pregnant and a 34 year old female lawyer with no clue how to fix toilets but I was able to do it at no charge thanks to him. Amazing service, a company that will be around for a while I'm sure.

I dropped my wedding ring down our bathroom sink drain, and while I was fortunately able to fish it out, I damaged the drain in the process, as the trap could not be replaced. I left a message with Strong Plumbing and was contacted very quickly. Valentin made arrangements to repair the drain the very next morning at 6:45am. Valentin arrived early, with a smile on his face and greeted me by name. He immediately recognized what needed to be done and quoted me a price, letting me know that he would try to replace only one portion of drain, but that an additional part might need to be replaced if the upper portion leaked, as sometimes occurs once it is removed (which I had to do to get to my ring). After replacing the part, Valentin ran the water for a long time to ensure everything was good and showed me that there was a minor leak in the upper part of the drain, so an replacement part would be needed. He replaced this with a high quality part, and in fact all the parts he used were higher quality than the originals. The drain trap he used also had a larger opening and would be easier to open should something be lost down the drain in the future. I would gladly call Valentin again if I have a plumbing problem!

Valentin was absolutely amazing. We had an emergency drain situation that came up 2 days before we were closing on our house. The garburator and drain system in the kitchen ended up completely clogged at 11pm. I put out an email to Strong Plumbing as well as several other suppliers I found on Homestars, and Valentin got back to me at 6am the next morning (never heard from anyone else!) He made time to come and see me at noon that day, and after 1.5 hours and much work, he was able to solve the problem. Valentin is hardworking, honest and knowledgeable and I highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs.

We were thrilled with the service of Strong Plumbing Inc. A most polite Valentin arrived promptly, did our repair efficiently, cleanly and quickly. We've had other plumbers in the past who were never as courteous and respectful to us and our property. Val went the extra mile ensure that the area inside our home was kept clean and as dust free as possible. He did not damage our drywall to the extent that patching and taping needed to be done but he was precise in his locating and cutting out of our ceiling to access the pipe. He replaced the faulty "so called" frost-free outdoor faucet and has given us copper piping with our new faucet. He took the time to instruct my husband and I on how to operate and maintain our new faucet with the indoor shutoff and draining valve. We cannot more highly recommend Valentin and the services of Strong Plumbing.
