I needed to get a toilet repaired in a hurry for a showing of my aunt's condo to a prospective buyer. Black sooty liquid was pouring into the bowl. In a panic, I went to Home Stars and saw the great reviews for Valentin's services. I texted and very soon afterward I got a response from him. This was Wednesday afternoon. The showing was at 12:30 pm on Thursday. Valentin came at 11 am, realized that the black liquid was coming from disintegrating rubber parts in the tank, quoted me a price for parts and the visit and fixed everything before noon as well as resealing the toilet to the floor without charging and leaving everything spotless. I was extremely impressed with his work, his prompt service, his cleanliness and his professionalism.

Basement sewer drain was getting plugged at regular intervals. Valentin used a scope to inspect the drain pipes. Narrowing and cracked cast iron pipes were found. Valentin and his crew removed the pipes and installed new pipes up to code and installed a backwater valve to prevent sewage from entering the house from the city sewage system. Thanks for prompt and effective work.

I think Valentin Sasu of Strong Plumbing is an honest guy who does good work, excellent to communicate with and is reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him to others.

Excellent service, VERY responsive . We have used Strong Plumbing a few times now. The service is top notch. A few of our issues were resolved with a few texts. I don't bother searching anywhere else for Plumbing services. Strong Plumbing is definitely the best!!

He was on time and pleasant. He’s explained everything clearly & did great work in a very reasonable amount of time. He observed COVID protocol throughout. And he cleaned up beautifully. I can’t say enough positive about the experience.

I chose Strong Plumbing to install my toilet soley based on the Homestars reviews and Valentin did not disappoint. Even before my appointment, Valentin provided invaluable input in helping me select my new toilet which I ordered online. After it finally arrived, Valentin was available the next morning to install it. He arrived on time, followed Covid protocols, removed my old toilet and installed the new one in just over 1 hour, and left my bathroom very tidy. Valentin also called his supplier to help me find the best price for a matching toilet seat. I was invoiced exactly the amount that he quoted to me over the phone. Valentin was friendly and professional during the whole process. I will definitely call him again for plumbing issues and I also won`t hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

As soon as I sent him pictures of taps need to be replaced and toilet with slight leak, he was able to give me the quote on the phone. He came over next morning with proper protection gear and able to finish the work very efficiently. He gave me helpful tips to watch out for along the way as well. He was on time, easy to communicate, skilful and the fee was reasonable. I would definitley hire him again for future plumbing service!!

Valentin diagnosed the problem over the phone and arrived sooner than expected! He was in and out in under 20 minutes, and it was all fixed.

We had basement flooding that we assumed was connected with the outdoor tap turned on for spring and the garden hose. Except the basement continued to flood when we did the dishes. When we figured this out Valentine was very fast at determining what needed to be done, replacement of our cracked drain pipe. We had to take care of removal of cabinets and breaking open the wall to the height of the leak but once we identified where the leak occurred Valentine came back the next morning to replace the damaged parts in a very timely fashion. As an added item, I paid $150 for the prior plumber to tell me they couldn't find the problem and assumed it was our foundation

Our shower was leaking between the fibreglass body and the drain, and had made quite a bit of a mess in the ceiling on the floor below it. I opened up the ceiling to discover the problem, and took a few photos, but realized that I wasn't comfortable replacing the drain myself. Valentin was able to diagnose our problem from just my photos, gave me a rough estimate from them, and — despite the lack of parts everywhere! — was able to source exactly what we needed to repair our leak (and a bunch besides, like the fact that our initial installer put the wrong type of drain in!) When he arrived, he widened the hole I'd cut, made all the changes needed, and had the job completed in around 2 hours. Valentin's price was exceptionally fair, he kept in constant contact, and he put our minds at ease. Highly recommended.
